BEFORE SENDING IN THE RESERVATION FORM AND DEPOSIT.


R & J Tours, Inc.
(hereinafter R & J Tours), 1030 N Business 71, Willmar, MN 56201, in return for full payment by you of the amount specified, is responsible to arrange for the motorcoach, flight(s), accommodations, events, sightseeing, and other services specified in catalog.

Responsibility: These tours are arranged and operated by R & J Tours.  R & J Tours acts only as an agent for our members in arranging lodging, air travel, ground transportation, sightseeing, admissions, and restaurants.  No liability shall be incurred by R & J Tours because of personal injury, property damage, or any other loss, delay, or other complications, claim, or damage arising out of or related to goods or services offered or included.  R & J Tours is not responsible for any delays or cancellations of air travel or any damages incurred from any disruptions in air travel.  R & J Tours is not responsible for personal injury, property damage, or any other loss, claim, or damage related to or arising out of, in whole or in part, the acts or omissions of any direct air carrier or other transportation, hotel, restaurant, event, or other person not an R & J Tours direct employee or not under R & J Tours exclusive control supplying any services or providing any goods offered or included.  R & J Tours is not responsible for personal injury, property damage or any other loss, delay, or complication, claim, or damage arising out of, either in whole or in part, acts of God, weather, government actions, mechanical breakdowns, acts of terrorism, or other causes reasonably beyond R & J Tours control.  In no event is R & J Tours responsible for incidental or consequential losses or damages.  R & J Tours reserves the right to make any changes or alterations in the printed itineraries, dates, routings, or included features prior to or during the tour, as may be necessary for the smooth and efficient operation of the tour.  R & J Tours also reserves the right to accept, decline, or retain any person as a participant of these tours at any time.

Home Front Door Pick-Up & Return: This service includes the entire Twin Cities area, Hutchinson, Litchfield, St. Cloud, and Willmar.  Some towns and residences are not included because of distance.  If you are not included in the shuttle service provided by R & J Tours, you will have the option of coming to Willmar the night before and R & J Tours will provide a complimentary room.  If you would prefer to stay in the Twin Cities prior to tour departure R & J Tours will make complimentary arrangements for you.  Many times customers will go to their travel partner’s house the night before and get picked up there.  Call to see if you are in the home pick up area.

Airfare From Minneapolis: Airfare is included in the Tour Price for all Fly Away Tours from Minneapolis.  Airline tickets will be handed out on the day of the trip at the airport by your tour director.  R & J Tours is not responsible for any delays or cancellations of air travel or any damages incurred from any disruptions in air travel, as it is out of our control.

Airfare from Other Departure Cities: If you are deviating from the pre-arranged group airfare from Minneapolis, you will need to be responsible for getting your own airline tickets and meeting up with the group in the originating city.  You may call our office to see the best flight times to best coordinate with the groups arrival.  Ask for land only package price when you call our office.  1-800-758-6877

Travel Documents will be mailed approximately 10 days prior to the trip departure.  Enclosed you will find two copies of your pick-up schedule, which will include departure times, pick-up points and returns, and a list of hotel names, addresses, and phone numbers.  (One to take along with you on the tour, and one to leave with a friend or family member.)  Also enclosed will be luggage tags, medical forms to be filled out and brought with you on the tour, and a letter with “What to Know Before You Go” information.  A  complete itinerary will be handed out on the first day of the tour.

No Smoking or Alcoholic Beverages on the Motorcoach: Breaks are given throughout each day.

Seat Rotation: Seats are rotated throughout the tour.  This enables you to enjoy different areas of the coach and become better acquainted with travelers.

Luggage Handling: It is our pleasure to handle your luggage needs throughout the tour.  One large suitcase per person is delivered to your hotel room each evening.  We ask that you keep your carry-on case with you.  You will be required to handle your own luggage in airport checkins.

Gratuities: Tips for all included features of your tour (baggage handling, included meals, taxi drivers, etc.) will be taken care of by your escort.  Tips for meals on your own or other services are at the discretion of each tour participant.  Customary tips for tour escort and driver should be on a voluntary basis and given individually, not as a group, on the last night or day of the trip.

Single Travelers Looking for Roommates: We will try to assist you in arranging a roommate for any person wishing to share accommodation at the double occupancy tour rate.  Travelers looking for partners are responsible for meeting one another and deciding if it is a good match.  R&J Tours shall not be held liable should the arrangement fail.  Should a shared arrangement not be available, the single rate will apply.

Single Travelers: We have many single travelers that like and choose to travel alone with the luxury of having their own hotel room.  Single occupancy pricing is higher because you are choosing not to have a roommate to share the cost of the hotel rooms. Single occupancy pricing does not guarantee that you will not have to sit by someone on the motorcoach.

Airline Frequent Flyer Programs: Frequent Flyer miles are the responsibility of the traveler.  Please keep your ticket receipt until you have confirmation of credited mileage from airlines.

Travel Bucks: Travel will be credited to your account upon completion of your tour.  You will no longer have to keep track of paper certificates.  We’ve just made it easier to save with R & J Tours!  Travel bucks can only be used on a future trips.  Travel bucks can be accumulated up to half the price of any tour 2 days or more.

Baggage Responsibility: At R & J Tours we make every effort to handle your luggage with care, yet we cannot be responsible for loss or damage to luggage due to breakage, theft, or fair wear and tear through hotel, airline, or tour handling.   It is also the responsibility of every passenger to make sure they do not leave anything on the coach at the end of a tour.  If you leave something on the coach, shuttle, or Taxi or any tour accommodations, it will be the responsibility of individual to assume any cost to attain belongings.

Passenger Health: Everyone is welcome on an R & J Tour.  R & J Tours reserves the right to terminate the tour of any person who are abusive of others or whose behavior disrupts the tour.

Travelers with special needs: R & J Tours regrets that it cannot provide individual assistance to guests for walking, dining, wheel chair or other personal needs.  Persons needing such assistance must be accompanied by an able companion who will assist them throughout the trip.
