This wonderful 4 day tour is packed full of fun, laughter, sights, and experiences!  It truly will be splendid!!

Day 1 – Home to Brookfield, WI

We depart this morning for a getaway featuring some of Wisconsin’s most enjoyable attractions. We’ll make our way through Wisconsin to Madison for an interesting tour of Wisconsin’s Capitol Building. Then we continue to Brookfield, our home for our three night stay, and enjoy a delightful dinner served at the Bonefish Grill.

Hotel: Sheraton Milwaukee Brookfield Hotel

Included Meals: Dinner

Day 2 – Brookfield

After breakfast at the hotel, we head for Greendale and tour this historical district by motorcoach. Enjoy time at Reiman Publications Visitor Center, where a short video tells the story of Reiman Publications from beginning to present. See for yourself how these popular magazines such as “Taste of Home” and “Birds and Bloom” began. See a test kitchen of Taste of Home in the Visitor Center. Take some time to browse the great Country Store Outlet. We have free time to enjoy lunch and shopping on your own. Next we have a guided tour the Basilica of St. Josaphat, a truly incredible structure designed in essence as a smaller version of St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome. This afternoon we visit the Great Lakes Distillery for a tour of this small-batch, hand-crafted, award-winning Distillery. We will learn about their great products, why & how they make them, and enjoy a sampling of their spirits. Then we head to the Harley-Davidson Museum for an up-close experience of more than 450 motorcycles and artifacts, including the oldest known Harley-Davidson motorcycle. We end our great day with dinner aboard the Edelweiss Dinner Cruise. As we float along the Milwaukee River & Lake Michigan shoreline, the scenery will be beautiful and the food outstanding.

Included Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

Day 3 – Brookfield

Breakfast is served again at the hotel before we travel to Fort Atkinson where a delicious lunch awaits at the Fireside Dinner Theatre. Then we are treated to the funny, heart-warming, down to earth, musical comedy of “Church Basement Ladies.” The story takes place in the church basement kitchen and is sure to bring back memories of many people you know and love! Following this entertaining play, we head to Miller Park, home of the Milwaukee Brewers. Get ready to cheer as the Minnesota Twins take on the Brewers!! We will return to the hotel late, but with a fun day like this, it will be well worth it!

Included Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Day 4 – Brookfield to Home

Before departing for home, enjoy one last breakfast at the hotel. We’ll make a stop at Clasen’s European Bakery in Middleton, founded in 1959 by two brothers from Germany, where the delectable goodies will tempt you! Before leaving town, a visit to the National Mustard Museum is a must. Then we continue to work our way home with an included lunch at Cracker Barrel in Wisconsin Dells.
