2. Rapid City to Cody
Visit Mount Rushmore National Memorial and see the faces of former presidents George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln so beautifully carved into the surface of the bluff. Motor through the Bighorn Mountains with sweeping vistas of deep canyons, rushing waterfalls, green pastures. Continue by Shell Falls rushing 120 feet over granite walls to the canyon floor. As we descend, into the beautiful open grassland of Wyoming we’ll arrive in the  frontier town of Cody.  This evening is at your leisure to choose from the many unique restaurants in this charming village.

3. Cody to Grand Tetons, National Park
Explore historic Cody  with a
visit to the Buffalo Bill Historical Center where you’ll get an authentic view of the Wild West.  We’ll continue to  Grand Teton National Park famous for it’s rugged peaks, glaciers, blue lakes, and dense green forests. The park is home to moose, antelope, and bison, as well as hundreds of wildflower types. Your home for the next two nights will be nestled within the park at the beautiful Jackson Lake Lodge.  This evening you are invited on a scenic peaceful float raft ride on the spectacular Snake River. It is here that you will see some of North America’s most spectacular mountain scenery hidden.  Dinner is served at a clearing along the river featuring an outstanding steak fry in the great outdoors.  It will be an evening you will long remember.

4. Grand Teton National Park
This morning board the Aerial Tram from the alpine village of Teton, ascend to the summit of Rendezvous Peak, where you’ll enjoy  spectacular sweeping views of the Teton Range and the Jackson Hole Valley.  Visit the charming town of Jackson,with it’s unique downtown boardwalk with it’s swing-door saloons.  Return to your lodge for an evening at leisure.  Dinner is included at the lodge with your choice of restaurants, maybe a fine dining experience or how about a barbeque poolside with some friends?

5. Grand Tetons to Yellowstone National Park
Continue to Yellowstone National Park, established in 1872 as the world’s first national park. We’ll stop and admire famous Old Faithful geyser that has been erupting “faithfully” for over 100 years.  Your beautiful lodge is set just at the park entrance of Yellowstone National Park.

6. Yellowstone National Park
Explore Yellowstone National Park with the help of an expert park guide.  Scenery is great as we motor through this beautiful park with a stop at Fountain Paint Pots. See its colorful, bubbling mudpots, and later view splendid Yellowstone Canyon.  At Mammoth Hot Springs take a short trail walk through steaming limestone terraces. Continue along the loop road and enjoy several photo opportunities including Yellowstone River’s Lower Falls, almost twice as high as Niagara. Lunch today is specially arranged within this beautiful park setting.  This evening is at your leisure.

7. Yellowstone to Glacier NP
This morning we head North to one of the most scenic National Park in America, Glacier National Park.  Your rustic accommodations for the next two nights will be within Glacier National Park on the Going to the Sun’s Highway.  Sleep soundly tonight  as you nestle in among this spectacular scenery of this great national park.

8. Glacier National Park
Breakfast is served at the hotel before we enjoy a morning cruise on the beautiful St. Mary’s Lake, with majestic mountains serving an awe-inspiring backdrop.  Later, we take a journey over the breathtaking Going-to-the-Suns Highway, aboard the park’s 1930’s vintage touring buses.  Motor along the shores of St. Mary’s Lake then cross the Continental Divide with sweeping vistas of mountains and valleys green. Return to your hotel for a restful evening.

9. Glacier NP to Great Falls
Travel to Great Falls, Montana with lunch and coffee breaks along the way.  Scenery changes as we leave the Rocky Mountains and motor through Montana’s big sky with it’s sprawling ranches.

10. Great Falls to Medora
Stop at Theodore Roosevelt National Park before we arrive in Medora, a delightful frontier town.  This evening join us for a delicious steak dinner along with the famous Pitchfork Fondue complete with a rousing musical, saluting Teddy Roosevelt and North Dakota.
