Day 1 Home to Des Moines
Arrive in Des Moines and check into our hotel for a 2 night stay. A special lunch is arranged with a guest speaker on the “Art of Antiquing.” Whether you are an experienced antique shopper or know nothing about the art you’ll enjoy this presentation. This afternoon spend some time shopping in some of Des Moines local antique malls with some featuring over 400 dealers. This evening enjoy reserved seating at the delightful Ingersoll Dinner Theater featuring “I Take This Man!” A perfect way to end the day!

Day 2 Des Moines-Walnut-Elk Horn-Des Moines
Depart Des Moines and travel to Walnut, Iowa, boasting the slogan of “The Antique Capital of the World.” Spend time shopping and tour the Danish Windmill. Lunch will be on your own to choose from the many restaurants. A special dinner is arranged in the Danish community of Elk Horn before arriving back at your hotel.

Day 3 Des Moines to Home
See the treasures that Mr. & Mrs. Carl Weeks discovered while touring the Salisbury House, a 42-room castle which was featured on A & E’s America’s Castles. Later shop in Historic Valley Junction with many outstanding shops. Lunch will be sered at Teacups and Tiarra’s, complete with hats of many kinds to wear during your delicious lunch. Don’t forget your cameras! This afternoon depart for home.
