Days 1,2,3,4 – Home to Flagstaff
We become snowbirds as we leave winter behind and begin our journey to the warm Southwest! We overnight in Kansas City & Oklahoma City, Albuquerque and Flagstaff. We will visit Oklahoma City Bombing Memorial a “Symbolic Memorial” honoring the victims
of this tragedy. Journey across the panhandle of Texas through Amarillo. Enjoy dinner at Black Barts in Flagstaff.

Day 5 – Flagstaff to Phoenix
Depart for Phoenix. We travel through the spectacular
Oak Creek Canyon and the picturesque town of Sedona with its breathtaking red rock formations serving as a backdrop! We arrive at the Verde Canyon Railroad and ride, first class, the rails along the historical route into Arizona’s other “grand canyon;” it’s an unforgettable experience. Continue to “The Valley of the Sun,” Phoenix, Arizona
for a relaxing five night stay in our suites in Old Town Scottsdale. Those who signed up for the fly option join us today!

Day 6 – Phoenix
A local step on guide will enhance all the history and sights that the Phoenix area has to offer. Enjoy the beauty and vitality of downtown Phoenix, a modern city on the move! Return to the hotel for some free time. This evening is at your leisure.

Day 7 – Phoenix
Today we take a short scenic drive along the Apache Trail to the Superstition Mountains with a delicious included lunch at the famous Tortilla Flats, complete with the World’s Best Killer Chili, and lively entertainment. Enjoy a relaxing cruise by steamboat on Arizona’s beautiful desert Canyon Lake. Experience the splendor of the canyon, wildlife, and unique desert plants. This evening attend the Barleen Family’s Arizona Opry, music dinner theater.

Day 8 – Phoenix
Today is at leisure. Relax and soak up the warm Arizona sun by the beautiful pool, or maybe take in a game of tennis or golf. Take advantage of the hotel’s perfect location in sunny Scottsdale, including the Scottsdale Trolley that will take you to the charming shops and attractions of the Scottsdale area. Explore the local Flea Market or maybe check out one of the Spring Training Baseball games that are here during this time.

Day 9 – Phoenix
After an included breakfast we are free to pursue our own interests. Some may want to
attend church services in the area. Enjoy an included lunch at Pinnacle Peak, as we step into the Old West at this Patio Steakhouse! Since 1957, Pinnacle Peak has been serving up the finest mesquite!

Day 10 – Phoenix to Tucson
Journey to the “most sunny city” Tucson, Arizona. We’ll make a stop at the De Grazia Art Gallery, a landmark in Tucson that welcomes thousands of visitors each year. Later, we’ll enjoy a narrated tram tour of Sabino Canyon where waterfalls, flowing mountain streams, clear cool pools, and rock walls hundreds of feet high create a marvelous natural environment. We’ll relax and get settled into our suites at the Desert Diamond Hotel for a leisurely 5 night stay in beautiful Tucson.

Day 11 – Tucson
A local step-on guide shows us the sights of Tucson including a visit to the beautiful San Xavier Mission. Later explore the Sonora Desert Museum, ranked as one of the greatest natural museums in the world! It’s exhibits are absolutely first rate. See Giant Saguara Cactii that will amaze you! This evening you are guests at a ranch outside of Tucson. Enjoy an outdoor BBQ under the stars with great western entertainment.

Day 12 – Tucson
After breakfast visit the old western town of Tombstone “The Town Too Tough to Die”. Tombstone was perhaps the most renowned of Arizona’s old mining camps and noted for the infamous Earp-Clanton battle, fought near the rear entrance of the O.K. Corral in 1881. See many of Tombstone’s historic buildings all within a few blocks of downtown Tombstone. Truly a historical American landmark, Tombstone is American’s best example of our 1880 western heritage. We’ll give time to browse this unique town. A delightful lunch is served at the Longhorn Restaurant in Tombstone. As we travel onto Sierra Vista, we’ll hear the story of Our Lady of the Sierras Shrine, a national historic landmark that evokes a feeling for the past.

Day 13 – Tucson
Today is a free day to sit back, relax, and soak up some deep Tuscon sunshine. An option is the Pima Air & Space Museum where history takes flight. It is one of the largest air and space museums in the world, where you will see more than 275 aircraft and spacecrafts including many of the most historically significant and technically advanced craft ever produced.

Day 14 – Tucson
Today we’ll take a trip down to the quaint and historic town of Tubac. We’ll take some time exploring this small artist community with it’s 80 unique shops and galleries that populate the village. This afternoon we will tour the beautiful Mission San Xavier Del Bac, the Grand “White Dove of the Desert.” Our final stop of the day will be at the winery in the Village of Elgin. Return to Tucson for a relaxing evening and an included dinner.

Day 15 – Tucson to Albuquerque
After breakfast we depart for Albuquerque for an overnight stay in this unique and exciting city. The fly away group leaves for home today. Dinner is included at Mimi’s Cafe.

Day 16 – Albuquerque – Sante Fe
Explore the city of Holy Faith, Santa Fe with its colorful history, culture, and fun. Santa Fe boasts a wealth of Old World charm. Enjoy a walking tour here including the Loretta Chapel, with it’s miraculous staircase. Enjoy lunch here on your own. Later, motor along the scenic Turquoise Trail passing through Madrid, a quaint coal town. Pass through Cerrillos, where turquoise from the area made it’s way into the crown jewels of Spain.

Day 17 – Santa Fe – Colorado Springs
After breakfast we leave New Mexico, the land of enchantment, on our way to the beautiful mountains of Colorado Springs. We’ll visit the Garden of the Gods, where the garden comes alive!

Day 18 – Colorado Springs to Lincoln
