1. Home to Lincoln
We become snowbirds as we leave winter behind and begin our journey to the warm Southwest! We travel to Lincoln for our first night.

2. Lincoln to Denver
After breakfast at the hotel depart. We’ll stop for lunch in Ogallala with some free time to have lunch on your own at the Front Street Steakhouse and Crystal Palace Saloon. Continue to Denver, the Mile High City, for a restful evening.

3. Denver to Grand Junction
Travel through beautiful Colorado, with a stop in Vail and noon lunch at the historic Hotel Colorado in Glenwood Springs. Arrive in Grand Junction before we drive beautiful Rim Rock Drive, offering 23 miles of the most breathtaking views. Climb from the Grand Valley of the Colorado River to the park’s high country, then wind along the plateau rim. This evening is spent in grand Junction.

4. Grand Junction to Bryce Canyon
Cross the majestic Rockies as we make our way to beautiful Bryce Canyon, featuring some of the earth’s most colorful rocks. Experience an exhilarating journey around the rim of Bryce Canyon heightened by brilliant sun, sky, and pure air! The red rock spires and the deep caverns and rooms present the wildest and most wonderful scene. Your hotel is nestled close to the canyon tonight. Take advantage of the hotel’s unique General Store with fine Indian Arts & Crafts.

5. Bryce Canyon to Las Vegas
(Fly Away group joins the tour today!) Travel to Las Vegas, the Entertainment Capital of the World, our destination for two nights. Arrive early afternoon for some free time. Tonight, we’ll take a drive down the brightly lit Las Vegas Strip. See the famous casino areas, amazing hotel and all kinds of people! This evening relax and enjoy the beautiful resort hotel located on the famous Las Vegas Boulevard Strip!

6. Las Vegas
Today is at leisure in Las Vegas and you won’t have any trouble finding something to do! Stroll the famous Las Vegas Boulevard Strip. This evening you are free to choose from the many star studded shows of Las Vegas.

7. Las Vegas to Sedona
Depart this morning with a drive by the Hoover Dam, one of the largest power projects ever undertaken by man. We’ll pick up and follow the famous "Route 66" through the desert and on to spectacular Oak Creek Canyon. Lunch is arranged in Williams just south of the Kaibab National Forest. Arrive in the artist community of Sedona with its breathtaking red rock formations serving as a backdrop! Browse the local shops of this charming desert village and enjoy dinner on your own to choose from the many restaurants of Sedona.

8. Sedona to Phoenix
This morning we will take a ride on the Verde Canyon Railroad’s Historic Route into Arizona’s other "grand canyon", it’s an unforgettable experience. Later we’ll make our way to "The Valley of the Sun," Phoenix Arizona for a relaxing 4 night stay. Your hotel is nestled in historic Old Town Scottsdale.

9. Phoenix
A local step on guide will enhance all the history and sights that the Phoenix area has to offer. Enjoy the beauty and vitality of downtown Phoenix, a modern city on the move! A special lunch is arranged at The Farm on South Mountain. Return to the hotel for some free time and a leisurely evening.

10. Phoenix
Today is at leisure. Relax and soak up the warm Arizona sun by the beautiful poolside or maybe take in a game of tennis or golf. Take advantage of your hotel perfectly located in sunny Scottsdale including the Scottsdale Trolley that will take you to the charming shops and attractions of the Scottsdale area. This evening attend the Barleen Family Country Music Dinner Theater.

11. Phoenix
Today we take a short scenic drive along the Apache Trail to the Superstition Mountains with a delicious included lunch at the famous Tortilla Flats, complete with the World’s Best Killer Chili, and lively entertainment. Enjoy a relaxing cruise by steamboat on Arizona’s beautiful desert Canyon Lake. Experience the splendor of the canyon, wildlife, and unique desert plants in their natural habitat.

12. Phoenix to Tucson
This morning we make our way to the “most sunny city” in America, Tucson. We’ll make a stop at the De Grazia Art Gallery, a landmark in Tucson, that welcomes thousands of visitors each year. Later, we’ll enjoy a narrated tram tour of Sabino Canyon where waterfalls, flowing mountain streams, clear cool pools, and rock walls hundreds of feet high create a marvelous natural environment. We’ll relax and get settled into the Sheraton Tucson hotel 7 Suites for a leisurely 3 night stay in beautiful Tucson. This evening you are guests at a wonderful ranch outside of Tuscon. Enjoy an outdoor barbeque cook out under the stars including entertainment and cowboy storytelling.

13. Tucson
Enjoy breakfast before a local step on guide shows us the sights of Tucson with a visit to the Sonora Desert Museum, ranked as one of the greatest natural museums in the world! It’s exhibits are absolutely first rate. See Giant Saguara Cactuses that will amaze you! Lunch is served at Hidden Valley Ranch before we visit Old Pueblo otherwise known as Old Tucson, and the Mission San Xavier Del Bac, the Grand “White Dove of the Desert.”

14. Tucson
After breakfast travel south to Nogales, Mexico for an exhilarating change of pace, great shopping and sightseeing. This active border town is a shopper’s paradise where the color and charm of Mexico abounds. Later we will visit Tubac, the oldest village in Arizona, where art and history meet. Tubac is a renowned, not to be missed, arts community. Take time to browse the unique shops and sights. This evening dinner is served at the rustic Pinnacle Peak Restaurant. Truly a dining experience!

15. Tucson to Albuquerque
(Th Fly Away group leaves today.)After breakfast visit the old western town of Tombstone. Take some time to browse this unique town. Don’t forget to stop at Boothill Cemetery! Later visit the historic town of Bisbee located on the border between Mexico and Arizona. We’ll see the scenery miraculously change for the dusty old western landscapes of Tombstone to the beautiful rolling hills of the Victorian town of Bisbee. Travel north through the Land of Enchantment, New Mexico and arrive in albuquerque for a 2 night stay.

16. Albuquerque
After breakfast we will enjoy a city tour with a local step on guide. Lunch is served at a local favorite restaurant here in Albuquerque before we visit the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center, a museum plus arts and crafts center. This evening is at your leisure to choose from the many restaurants of Albuquerque.

17. Albuquerque to Oklahoma City
Journey across the pan handle of Texas through Amarillo arriving in Oklahoma City for a restful evening.
