Branson & the Ozarks I

Day 1 – Home to Kansas City

We depart bright and early this morning for our fun-filled trip to Ozark Mountain Country.  Arrive in Kansas City tonight.

Day 2 – Kansas City to Branson
After an included breakfast, we’ll head for Branson with a lunch stop at famous Lambert’s Restaurant.  Witness their famous ‘throwing of the buns’.  Later attend our first show,  the Yakov Smirnoff Show, ‘What a Country, What a Show’!  Enjoy one hearty laugh after another, with his commentary on his arrival here and what American freedom means to him.  Dinner is on your own this evening to choose from the many unique restaurants of Branson.  Jim Stafford’s zany show provides action-packed adventure, incredible guitar playing and some deliriously delightful surprises that await you at the Jim Stafford Theatre.  Your lovely Branson hotel is located in the heart of Branson’s famous strip.  This perfect location allows easy access to shopping, theaters, and restaurants.

Day 3 – Branson
A light breakfast is served at the hotel this morning.  Attend Les Brown and the Band of Renown.  It’s like going back in time to one of the big ballrooms, listening to great Big Band Music.  Hear the stories Les shares about some of the songs and artists involved.  They’ve had ten #1 hits and played with many great entertainers through the years.  Enjoy some leisure time with time given at Branson Landing, featuring uncharted waterfront shopping, dining and entertainment adventures on the shores of beautiful Lake Taneycomo in downtown Branson.  Dinner is served at a favorite steakhouse here in Branson.   This evening, you’ll be treated to the Andy Williams Show in the lovely Moon River Theatre.

Day 4 – Branson
A light breakfast is served at the hotel with some free time following.  Lunch is on your own today with some Branson shopping leisure time.  This afternoon we head to the Roy Rogers – Dale Evans Museum.  A lifetime of Happy Trails full of love, laughter, and sometimes sorrow is all right here for everyone to see.  Later attend a great show at the Happy Trails Theater.  Dinner is included at favorite McFarlains Restaurant at the Imax.   Tonight see the famous fiddler, Shoji Tabuchi, acclaimed to be one of the greatest entertainers in the world.

Day 5 – Branson to Kansas City
After a light breakfast at the hotel, motor to Kansas City.  Wonderful treasures and fascinating history await us at the Steamboat Arabia Museum. The handsome steamer Arabia prospered on the rivers, perished in 1856 and was rediscovered 132 years later, its precious cargo intact.  Arrive at your hotel in Kansas City.

Day 6 – Kansas City to Home
Depart Kansas City after breakfast at the hotel.  Arrive home
this afternoon.
