Jasper National Park, Columbia Icefield, Lake Maligne, Kootenay National Park, Banff National Park, Lake Louise

Day 1 – Home to Dickinson, ND

Our luxurious motorcoach motors us to some of the world’s most beautiful country. Stay in Dickinson, North Dakota tonight.

Day 2 – Dickinson to Havre, MT

After breakfast we will make our way across the prairies of North Dakota and Montana. We will arrive in Havre for a stay at the lovely Great Northern Inn.

Day 3 – Havre to Canmore, Alberta

Proof of citizenship is needed today as we cross the border into Canada. We’ll stop for lunch in Brooks and make our way through Calgary before reaching our destination for the evening, Canmore. Its mountain setting is known for the famous Three Sisters Mountain towering nearby. The peaks are individually known as “Big Sister (Faith), Middle Sister (Charity) and Little Sister (Hope).” Tonight we will enjoy the dinner theatre performance of “Oh Canada Eh?” – a musical celebration of Canada that is full of laughs!

Day 4 – Canmore to Banff, Alberta

Enjoy breakfast before we depart for Banff, just a short distance away. This morning we will embark on a peaceful float raft ride on the Bow River as it winds along the Bow River Valley to Banff National Park, towering mountain peaks and the Bow Falls surround us. Later we will make our way up to the lovely Banff Springs Hotel, which offers spectacular views to behold. Lunch is included in downtown Banff. The remainder of the day is at your leisure.

Day 5 – Banff to Jasper, Alberta

Journey into the Canadian Rockies, considered one of the most scenic mountain ranges in the world. View lovely Lake Moraine tucked among mountain peaks. Motor along the Icefields Parkway, a spectacular stretch of highway offering views of majestic mountains, waterfalls, glaciers, and snow fields. Watch for bear, mountain goats, elk, and bighorn sheep. A narrated Snocoach ride on the surface of the mighty Columbia Icefields and Athabasca Glacier is in store. See Snow Dome and Mount Athabasca peaks. Settle into the Chateau Jasper for a two night stay. Dinner will be at the lodge this evening.

Day 6 – Jasper

Eat breakfast at your leisure. Later we’ll cruise on lovely Lake Maligne to Spirit Island with sweeping views of mountain scenery, then return to the lodge for the remainder of the day. Some may want to browse in the local shops of Jasper. This evening enjoy a delicious BBQ dinner at the Chateau.

Day 7 – Jasper to Golden, British Columbia

Arrive at Chateau Lake Louise, a world-renowned mountain resort majestically set on the edge of Victoria Glacier and overlooking Lake Louise. Enjoy lunch in the hotel’s lovely dining room. Considered one of the most beautiful settings in North America, time will be given to soak in the surrounding scenery. See emerald colored Lake Peyto tucked among majestic mountain peaks. This afternoon we’ll travel to Golden, British Columbia and settle into our relaxing lodges to soak in the splendid scenery.

Day 8 – Golden to Radium Hot Springs, BC

Today we’ll journey down to Radium Hot Springs, located south of Yoho National Park and onto Kootenay National Park which is encompassed by two river valleys, the Kootenay and the Vermillion, amidst the stunning setting of the west side of the Rocky Mountains. We’ll make our way to the lovely Fairmont Hot Springs Resort, just a short distance from Radium Hot Springs. After an included lunch at the resort, you may want to enjoy the hot springs at your leisure. A great way to end a perfect day!

Day 9 – Radium to Waterton Park, AB

Today we make our way to the quaint town of Waterton Park, taking in more of the spectacular mountain views along the way. This evening we’ll enjoy the Great Canadian Barn Dance Show, including a delicious dinner and some down-home music that will leave us smiling, singing, and reminiscing! Tonight we will nestle into our hotel overlooking the stunning Rocky Mountains.

Day 10 – Waterton Park to Havre, MT

Today we will travel across the border and back into the states, making our way along the east side of beautiful Glacier National Park. Take in the scenery as we leisurely wind along. Arrive this evening in Havre for a relaxing overnight.

Day 11 – Havre to Dickinson, ND

After a light breakfast, we’ll leave Montana behind and make our way into North Dakota for our last overnight.

Day 12 – Dicksinson to Home

After a light breakfast, we’ll motor our last stretch for home.
