1. Home – Boston

We board our flight for and begin a journey through lovely Cape Cod in late summer. Arrive in Boston the “Cradle of American Independence.” Your hotel awaits you for a relaxing two night stay. Dinner is included this evening at the hotel.

2. Boston
This morning after breakfast at the hotel we’ll embark on a full day of sightseeing Boston’s most historic and fascinating sights. Travel to Cambridge including a stroll through Harvard Yard. Experience the Freedom Trail a journey through history highlighting Quincy Market Place, Faneuil Hall, the Charles Street featuring fine antique shops and Boston Commons. See the old North Church and the USS Constitution. The day will be exciting as American history unfolds before your very eyes. Visit Lexington and Concord to see the battle sites of 1775. Lunch and dinner are on your own today giving you opportunity to choose from the countless cafes and restaurants.

3. Boston – Hyannis, Cape Cod
Travel south to the town of Plymouth just south of Boston. See Plymouth Rock and the Mayflower II, a replica of the original before visiting Plimoth Plantation, an amazingly accurate depiction of 17th century life. Continuing on to Hyannis, Cape Cod for a relaxing four night stay.

4. Cape Cod
Sightsee beautiful Cape Cod today as we motor along the “Arm of the Cape” offering some of the most beautiful scenery of the Cape. Visit Cape Cod National Seashore Interpretation Center before arriving in Provincetown, a delightfully busy summer community and great place for some leisure time. Enjoy lunch on your own before we venture into the water off the Cape where a large number of whales frequent. A guided whale watching cruise helps us discover these amazing creators in their habitat. Enroute to your resort, see the traditional clapboard cottages lining the shores of the Atlantic. Dinner is on your own at your leisure this evening.

5. Cape Cod
Cruise this morning to Martha’s Vineyard, a small island off the coast which holds a fascinating history. An island native will share it this morning as we motor along Oak Bluff and Vineyard Haven. See the cliffs of Gay Head and many picture perfect harbors. Visit Edgartown which features gingerbread cottages and narrow streets. Enjoy lunch on your own, browse the many galleries and shops or take a stroll along the wind swept beaches and breath the fresh Atlantic air. As the sun sets over the Atlantic Waters we’ll experience a traditional clam bake dinner an evening you will long remember.

6. Cape Cod
This morning enjoy breakfast at the hotel before we cruise to Nantucket Island. Tour this lovely island with all its charming sights. Lunch will be on your own to choose from the many unique cafes of Nantcuket. Return to the hotel for a relaxing evening.

7. Cape Cod to Newport
Breakfast is served at the hotel before we head for the town of Sandwich, reowned for its beautiful glass. Take some time here to browse the shops before we continue to Newport, Rhode Island. A special lunch is arranged at the famous Laforge, the international Tennis Hall of Fame. After lunch we’ll embark on a harbor cruise of Newport, America’s Yachting Capital. We’ll check into the Newport Harbor Resort, perfectly located in the heart of Newport’s shopping and restaurants along the harbor. Take advantage of the excellent location as your hotel is located on famous Thames Street.

8. Newport
Breakfast is served at the hotel before we tour beautiful Newport. Motor along the famous “10 Miles Drive” with all its charming old mansion and estates along the coast. After lunch on your own we’ll visit the reowned Breakers Mansion, the home of the famous Vanderbelts. This evening a special farewell dinner celebration is planned as the Atlantic Beach Club offer ing spectacular ocean views as you dine.

9. Newport to Home
After breakfast at the hotel we motor our way to Boston. Stop at Adams National Historical Park and here the story of five generations of the Adams family. See Historical Structures and homes of John Adams and John Quincy Adams, the second and sixth presidents of the United States. Later catch our flight for home.
