This morning we’ll depart on the Empire Builder train to Chicago. We’ll enjoy the sights along the way, passing Lake Pepin and arriving in Chicago at 4:00 pm. This evening join us for a welcome dinner at the hotel.

2. Chicago
After a light breakfast at the hotel, we’ll welcome a local guide to show us the Christmas sights of Chicago. Later, tour the Field Museum featuring Tutankhamun and the “Golden Age of the Pharaohs” For dinner, you are free to choose from the many restaurants surrounding the hotel. This evening you’ll enjoy reserved seating at the famous Radio City Rockettes Christmas Spectacular. For more than three quarters of a century, the Radio City Rockettes have been the world’s most famous precision dance troupe and a legendary force in entertainment

3. Chicago to Rockford
This morning, visit the Museum of Science and Industry featuring a display of Christmas trees from around the world.. Later spend time on Magnificent Mile lined with wonderful shops and cafes decorated for the Christmas season. Late this afternoon we make our way to Navy Pier a Christmas Wonderland. Spend some time on the pier before we board the ‘Spirit of Chicago’ boat for an evening of dining, dancing, and breathtaking views of Chicago’s Skyline.

4. Rockford to Home
After an included breakfast we depart for home with lunch on your own at Burnstad’s European Cafe. Journey home with wonderful memories that have prepared us for the upcoming Christmas season.
