Day 1 – Home to Duluth, Minnesota
Today we depart for another exciting farm tour. We enjoy a delightful noon lunch along the way. Then our first exciting stop will be a tour of the Minnesota Wildlife Connection offering once in a lifetime photo opportunities for photographers and artists of most native wildlife in a setting of primordial Great Lakes forests. See wolves, coyotes, fox, cougar, bobcat, lynx, beaver, bear, ermine, pine martin, fisher, badger, and more.  Be sure to bring your camera for a once in a lifetime opportunity of photo taking! Continue to Duluth and check into the lovely Radisson Hotel perfectly located in the heart of the downtown. We will be welcomed by a complimentary reception at the hotel. This evening join us for dinner as we enjoy some great food and a guest speaker.

DAY 2 – Duluth
   
An included breakfast is served at the hotel before a great day of touring activities begins.  Our first stop will be a visit to the CHS Grain handling terminal and elevator of Superior Wisconsin.  In May 1942 the whaleback steamer “South Park” took the first load of grain from the new elevator.  Today, the Superior elevator loads out over 60 million bushels each year! Next we are off to the Old Firehouse and Police Museum.  Later, take time to stroll along the Barker Island marina.  After lunch tour the beautiful Fairlawn Mansion and Museum, a 42 room mansion built in the popular Queen Anne Victorian style of architecture, or tour the S.S. Meteor Whaleback Ship Museum and step aboard the last whaleback ship in the world!  This afternoon cruise the lovely harbor aboard the Vista Star!  Enjoy the shoreline, sights, and information as a Port Authority official shares.  This evening dinner is served at Valentinis Restaurant, a delightful Italian favorite.

DAY 3 – Duluth
Enjoy a full breakfast at the hotel before we take a scenic drive along Skyline Parkway featuring winding roads, beautiful vista’s and many photo opportunities.  Next, history comes alive on the Lakefront line of the North Scenic Railroad!  Visit The Train Depot Museum featuring the finest indoor collection  of vintage coaches, locomotives, cars and equipment.  After lunch, enjoy some free time in Canal Park before we tour the William A. Irvin, a true experience of life on the Great Lakes!  You’ll be amazed as you tour this flagship of the US Steel Fleet built in the late 1930’s just as the shipping industry was coming out of a long recession and prior to the WWII shipbuilding frenzy.  Return to the hotel for a complimentary evening reception.  You are invited to a delicious dinner this evening , to again be accompanied by great entertainment and guest speaker at the hotel.

DAY 4 – Duluth to Home
After an included breakfast at the hotel we depart Duluth.  This morning tour Cirrus Airplane Factory.  Learn about this leader in personal aircraft production.   Enjoy lunch along the way as we continue our journey home with memories of another great farm tour!
