Day 1 – Home to Lake Geneva, WI
Off we go through the countryside of Wisconsin, hopefully catching stunning fall color out our windows as we motor along! After coffee breaks and lunch on our own along the way, we will arrive in quaint Lake Geneva. We will be guests for three nights at the Harbor Shores on Lake Geneva. Our hotel is located just steps away from beautiful Geneva Lake and we’ll thoroughly enjoy our lakeview rooms! After settling into our rooms, we’ll head to the Rosewood for a farm to table dinner experience and “Radio Days” show. Go back to when families gathered in post-war living rooms across America to hear music and stories from The Golden Age of Radio by The Andrew Sisters, Glen Miller Band, Duke Ellington, Vaughn Monroe, Rosemary Clooney, Tony Bennett, Bobby Darin, Peggy Lee and much more!

Day 2 – Lake Geneva
Following a hearty and healthy breakfast, we will visit the incredible Yerkes Observatory, home to the world’s largest refracting telescope. The barrel of the telescope is 64 feet long & weighs six tons! There is much to see & experience here. Next we board the Grand Belle for a scenic luncheon cruise on beautiful Lake Geneva! Enjoy a narrated tour of the entire lake as well as a delicious sit-down lunch that is sure to satisfy. A few hours are free this afternoon to explore the shops of downtown Lake Geneva, walk along the shoreline path past impressive homes both old and new, settle onto a bench and take in the lake view, or relax at the hotel. Dinner tonight is served at a local restaurant. Our night isn’t over yet as we head to The Tristan Crist Magic Theatre to experience this grand illusionist perform magic up-close and personal! How can a real helicopter appear only a few feet away?!

Day 3 – Lake Geneva
Enjoy breakfast before we travel to Safari Lake Geneva, a unique wildlife preserve that is home to animals from around the world. It is not a zoo nor a theme park, but instead a refuge for the world’s diminishing breeds, allowing them to roam the vast acreage and interact with other animals, oftentimes in herds, much as they would in their ancestral homelands. Then we are guests at Royal Oak Farm, home to 20,000 apple trees of 30 different varieties. Here we will experience a educational wagon ride through their orchard and even have a chance to each pick a 1/4 peck of apples! Lunch is on your own at the farm – you may wish to try their homemade chicken pot pies and apple cider donuts. We will return to Lake Geneva to enjoy more free time to shop, walk the lakeshore path in the opposite direction, or sit by the marina and watch the boats. This evening we are in for a treat as we board the East Troy Dinner Train for an elegant dinner as we roll down the tracks, taking in the beauty around us.

Day 4 – Lake Geneva to Home
After one last breakfast in our lovely surroundings, we bid beautiful Lake Geneva farewell and begin our journey home. Arrive home having made new travel friends and fondly remembering our fall adventures in Lake Geneva!
