We’re headed to Larson’s Famous Clydesdales, where we’ll take a guided tour and see a performance of famous champion Clydesdales. What a special experience this will be! Visit the Clydesdale Museum with an antique wagon and souvenir shop. This evening we’ll dine in style at a local favorite, Sebastian’s! Rest well tonight – we’ve got a full day tomorrow!

Day 3 – Fond du Lac area

Today we start out early for an exciting stop at Jim’s Siberian Outpost, where we’ll get up close and personal with the sled dogs, learn a bit about their different stories and dispositions, and get a feel for the amount of manpower required to keep the operation running. We’ll visit with the dogs while Jim teaches us about sledding, the history of the Iditarod, and the training for winter’s most exciting sport. Following the interesting tour with Jim, we’ll make our way to the community of Plymouth for a visit to the Wreath Factory. Here we will find a collection of wreaths with their signature blend of pine, cedar, balsam, and other botanicals to capture a scent true to Christmas memories, both old and new! After lunch on our own near Plymouth, we’ll step back in time to the stagecoach era at the Wade House, where we’ll tour the carriage museum & blacksmith shop, take a wagon ride, and visit the 1850’s Stagecoach Inn. We’ll get a real taste of history here! And our day continues! We’ll head to the LaClare Family Creamery in the late afternoon. Taste something out of the ordinary. Discover the one-of-a-kind goat milking facility and on-site creamery. The Retail Shoppe offers a wide variety of Wisconsin Artisan and Farmstead cheeses made with goat, cow and sheep milk. Ice cream, craft beer and specialty foods can also be found. Sample LaClare Family Creamery award-winning cheeses before we dine right here tonight at LaClare Farms with a four-course farm to table dinner!
