1. Home to St. Petersburg
(The fly away group arrives today.) Enjoy a breakfast at the hotel before we traveling to sunny Florida where sugar sand beaches await you. Check into the Dolphin Beach Resort for a relaxing and fun 7 night stay! Your resort is located in the heart of St. Pete, perfectly nested between the Gulf of Mexico and the Intracoastal Waterway. Take advantage of the great location within walking distance to many restaurants, shops, attractions, and of course the beach! Enjoy an evening at your leisure.

2. St. Petersburg
This morning join us for an informative breakfast orientation reception detailing all there is to do in the area. Today is yours to enjoy! There are many optional activities available at the hotel.

3. St. Petersburg
Today an optional trip (at your own cost) is planned to Busch Gardens offering great entertainment, rides, and an interactive zoo. Return to the hotel for a restful evening. Some may want to take in the entertainment at the hotel’s patio and pool bar on most evenings.

4. St. Petersburg
Travel south and enjoy the sunny coastline enroute to Fort Myers. Visit Thomas Edison’s home, including some of Edison’s incredible inventions and his lovely botanical garden. Lunch is arranged at a delightful waterfront cafe. Later, visit Sanibel Island, a resort paradise known for its lighthouse, lush vegetation, extensive beaches, abundant bird life, and perhaps most of all, sea shells. Take time to gather some shells as each tide brings thousands of shells onto the fine sand beaches.

5. St. Petersburg
Motor past Clearwater to beautiful Tarpon Springs the “Sponge Capital of the World.” This charming village was founded back in 1907 Tarpon Springs is a Mecca of Greek culture. Stroll around this charming seaside village where divers bring in the famous sponge from off the virgin gulf waters. Walk the fishing docks and do some browsing in the local shops. Lunch today is planned at a wonderful local Greek restaurant. Enjoy an included boat cruise from the Sponge Docks along the Anclote River to see gulf birds, dolphins or manatees. See a sponge diver, in full diving gear search the river bottom for these famous sponges! Return to the resort.

6. St. Petersburg
Today an optional trip to Orlando is planned. Transportation is provided and you can choose between one of the many attractions including Disney World, Magic Kingdom and Epcot Center at your own cost.

7. St. Petersburg
Sleep late and enjoy a free day at the resort on sunny Gulf Coast. Take a dip in the sparkling pool or pull up a chair on the sugar sand beach! There are many optional activities to participate in if you wish! This evening you are special guests aboard the Starlite Princess Dinner Cruise on Boco Ciega Bay! A perfect farewell celebration to sunny Florida!
