Some may want to explore the Riverwalk, a quaint new waterfront park that is connected to the city’s historic district or shopping at the famous Las Olas Shops steps from the hotel. 7. Key West to Fort Myers
Head south to the mainland with coral reef islands reaching out along the way providing breathtaking scenery. A waterfront lunch is arranged in Key Biscayne, an exclusive island suburb of Miami; perfectly placed between the Atlantic and Biscayne Bay. After lunch we’ll drive through the famous Florida Everglades. Experience this “river of grass” marshland and don’t be surprised if you see alligators basking in the sun!

8. Fort Myers
Sightsee Fort Myers and visit Seminole Lodge, the winter home of Thomas Edison, and see some of Edison’s incredible inventions and his lovely botanical garden. Later, visit Sanibel Island, a resort paradise known for its lighthouse, lush vegetation, extensive beaches, abundant bird life, and perhaps most of all, sea shells. Take some time to gather some shells as each tide brings thousands of shells onto the fine sand beaches.
