Holland, Michigan: An All-American City with a Dutch accent!
Day 1 – Home to Lansing
Our motorcoach leaves today with an included lunch along the way. Our lodging for the night will be in Lansing, IL.

Day 2 – Holland, Michigan
Travel to Holland, Michigan today, an all American city with a Dutch accent! Spend some time at Nelis’ Dutch Village for some lunch on your own, explore the Dutch village artisans (wooden shoes & Delftware), and maybe do a little shopping! We’ll have an opportunity to experience the new Immersion Garden where we’ll view tulips in raised beds, making us feel like we’re right inside the garden itself, while we learn the history of the tulip and how they ended up in Holland, MI. Tonight we’ll dine together before we enjoy an evening of entertainment with the Texas Tenors!

Day 3 – Holland to Elgin, IL
This morning we’ll take an educational and fun tour of the city with a step-on guide. Next, we’ll experience another wonderful, new exhibit of Dutch costumes and photography all the way from the Netherlands. Walk through the beautiful display before we enjoy a boxed lunch together. Then it’s off to the main event – the Volksparade! This is preceded by the town crier’s announcement that the streets are too dirty for a public event. He orders a brigade of costumed scrubbers to the streets, and with pails swinging from their shoulders, they splash and scrub until the pavement shines. Following the parade, we’ll visit Windmill Island and view the Dezwaan, a 240-year-old working Dutch Windmill, surrounded by more than 100,000 tulips! Then we begin our journey home with an overnight along the way in Elgin.

Day 4 – Elgin to Home
We’ll board our coach for home with fond memories. Enjoy an included lunch enroute.
