Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade

Day 1 – Home to New York City

The holidays in New York City are simply grand as the streets are lit with millions of sparkling lights and shops display their best for the holiday season!  We’ll arrive at the Sheraton Manhattan Hotel perfectly located in Midtown Manhattan.  Dinner this evening is on your own to choose from the many outstanding restaurant and cafes surrounding your hotel.

Day 2 – New York City
Breakfast is on your own this morning and you are free to wander outside to witness Macy’s 81st  Thanksgiving Day Parade.  Enjoy impressive displays of floats, marching bands, and those famous huge balloons looming overhead.  After a wonderful time of viewing the parade, we’ll enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving feast with all the trimmings onboard the elegant World Yacht while cruising the New York City Harbor.    Enjoy the company of family and friends as we reflect on all there is to be thankful for at this time of year.

Day 3 – New York City
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before a local expert guide helps us explore the “Big Apple”.  See Greenwich Village, Wall Street, Chinatown, the United Nations, Rockefeller Center, Broadway, and countless other famous New York landmarks.  Lunch is a special dining experience as we are guests at the famous Tavern on the Green in Central Park.  Later stop down  at the Rockefeller Center and see all the ice skaters creating a festive atmosphere that only New York City can provide. This afternoon you will have leisure time to stroll and explore the many famous shops including Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s, Saks Fifth Avenue, and much more.   Tonight enjoy reserved prime seating at the funniest musical on Broadway, ‘The Drowsy Chaperone’, awarded with the most 2006 Tony Awards of any musical.

Day 4 – New York City
Today we cruise across New York City Harbor to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis island.  Take some time to visit the museum and acknowledge the over 12 million immigrants who came here. The remainder of the afternoon is at leisure.  Your tour director will help with any arrangements you may have.  This evening enjoy reserved seating at the famous Christmas Spectacular at Radio City Music Hall featuring The Rockettes, celebrating 75 years!

Day 5 – New York City to Home
Breakfast is at your leisure to choose from the many restaurant and sidewalk cafes surrounding the hotel. Later, we depart for the airport and our flight home.
