1. Home to Palm Springs
(The fly option group arrives today in Palm Springs and joins the tour this afternoon. Depart Laughlin this morning and motor to Palm Springs. Check into the beautiful resort hotel located in the heart of Palm Springs for 6 nights. Awake in paradise and enjoy breakfast at your leisure. A local step on guide joins us today to show us around Palm Springs including the neighborhoods of the rich and famous. We’ll make an interesting stop at the Palm Springs Air Museum.This afternoon take an included trip to the Living Desert Museum where you will see beautiful displays of desert plant and wildlife. This evening we’ll gather right outside the hotel and watch the traditional Village Fest! Discover an old-time street fair that transforms downtown Palm Springs into a charming international bazaar with over 100 vendors featuring a farmers market, fine art, ceramics, woodworking, entertainment, and antiques.

This morning is at leisure. Today we board covered wagons and head into the California desert. Hear about desert plants and wildlife. Enjoy an included barbecue lunch with western entertainment. Before returning to the hotel we’ll stop at the Oasis Date Gardens for an interesting tour. This evening after dinner, you are guests at The Fabulous Palm Springs Follies where all the performers are 50 to 80 years young! Enjoy this spectacular musical revue!

6. Palm Springs to Lake Havasu

After breakfast depart for Arizona. Today we explore Joshua Tree National Park at a relaxed pace. Here you will enjoy sweeping views of rugged mountains, granite monoliths, twisted rock, and beautiful desert flowers accenting this beautiful national park. A delightful lunch will be in Twenty-nine Palms with a spectacular aerial tram ride as you ascend from palms to the pines. The panoramic view of Palm Springs from atop this 8,500 ft peak of Mount San Jacinto is amazing! Continue to Lake Havasu and check into one of the state’s most popular resort areas.
