Day 1 – Home to Santa Ana, CA 

Board our non-stop flight today with much anticipation of the upcoming days which will feature the parade of all parades, the 133rd Rose Parade! Unpack, relax, and enjoy as we have chosen a lovely hotel in Anaheim for the next 4 nights. This evening enjoy a welcome dinner.

Day 2 – Los Angeles/Anaheim 

After breakfast we’re in for a treat as we witness the finishing touches being placed on the parade floats during our Flower Lovers self-guided tour! Then after lunch we head out on a sightseeing tour of the Los Angeles and Hollywood areas. See TCL Chinese Theatre where the footprints of the stars line the sidewalk, as well as the Dolby Theatre, home of the Academy Awards. After a busy day we return to the hotel for a relaxing evening and dinner on your own.

Day 3 – Los Angeles/Anaheim 

This morning we will travel to The Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Center for Public Affairs in Simi Valley. In honor of the 40th President of the United States, we’ll tour Ronald Wilson Reagan’s Presidential Museum and view the final resting place of this great President and his wife Nancy Reagan. In a storied career that spanned more than five decades, Ronald Reagan inspired Americans to act and achieve even more than they imagined. His legacy thrives at The Reagan Library & Museum where events and exhibits rediscover his values, actions and spirit of determination. After lunch on your own at the Cafeteria located at the Library, we will go on a tour at Warner Brother Studios. We will take in all the sights of this working studio! Then we return to the hotel to ring in the New Year right with a special dinner and fun times. We will be ringing in the new year at 9:00 California time – 12:00 midnight NYC time!

Day 4 – Los Angeles 

Happy New Year! Attend the 133rd Tournament of Roses Parade. Enjoy great reserved bleacher seating as we see first hand the magically animated floats, hear the many outstanding marching bands and more. We will witness in person what millions see through the eyes of television. We’ve packed a delicious box breakfast for you so you won’t miss a moment of the parade. All of this is planned with you in mind. After the parade the remainder of the day is at your leisure.

Day 5 – Los Angeles to San Diego 

We begin our day with a stop at Mission San Juan Capistrano. Here we’ll learn the history of this well preserved mission along the El Camino Real (the Royal Road.) After our visit to the Mission we will meet an experienced historian from the Hotel del Coronado. We will discover all of the incredible moments in history through an in-depth, walking tour of this grand Victorian building and gardens. An ice cream treat will end our time in Coronado! Then we check into the Embassy Suites in downtown San Diego and enjoy the Manager’s Reception from 5:30-7:00 pm. This evening is on your own to explore this historic district.

Day 6 – San Diego 

Exploring the beautiful California city of San Diego couldn’t be easier than with these three unforgettable experiences: the USS Midway Maritime Museum, an Old Town Trolley City Tour, and a scenic premier Dinner Cruise. We’ll dive into US history during our visit to the USS Midway Museum and learn about how some of the incredible aircrafts it houses were used in the fight for freedom. Then we’ll learn about the city’s extensive history on our Old Town Trolley tour. Our day concludes with a spectacular evening spent out on the beautiful San Diego Bay aboard a spacious and comfortable yacht. We’ll sit down to a delicious three-course dinner made on board with seasonal, local ingredients. Be sure to head out onto the deck for a stroll under the stars and to take in the breathtaking views of San Diego’s most famous sights, including the Coronado Bay Bridge, the Star of India, and more! It’s a magical San Diego experience from the water’s perspective – one we won’t forget!

Day 7 – San Diego to Santa Ana to Home 

Today we head to the John Wayne Airport in Santa Ana for our non-stop flight home with memories of an unforgettable holiday, celebrating the New Year in grand style.
