1. Home to Chicago
Depart this morning on the Empire Builder Amtrak Train to Chicago. Enjoy the passing scenery as we rail by beautiful Lake Pepin and on to Chicago. We’ll end at Chicago’s Union Station and check into our hotel for an overnight stay. This evening enjoy dinner on your own at Navy Pier overlooking Lake Michigan with lots of choices for great dining.

2. Chicago to Shipshewana
After a light breakfast we depart by motorcoach for Shipshewana, nestled in the heart of Northern Indiana Amish Country. Experience country cooking, celebrated attractions, distinctive museums, and the most popular flea market in the entire midwest just across the street from your hotel. Enjoy the afternoon at the Shipshewana Flea Market and Crafts Festival. Discover treasure after treasure, everything from handmade quilts to fresh vegetables at a roadside stand. There are over 85 different shops and over a thousand vendors displaying their wares. This evening you are guests at a local farm for a wonderful dinner experience.

3. Shipshewana to Chicago
Breakfast is served at the hotel before we spend the morning in Shipsehwana. Later this morning depart for Nappanee a charming Amish community a special threshers lunch is served at the unique Round Barn Restaurant before the delightful performance of “Plain and Fancy” at the Round Barn Theater. Later we depart for our overnight stay in Chicago.

4. Chicago to Home
Enjoy a hot breakfast at the hotel before we depart today by our luxury motorcoach for home. Enjoy lunch and coffee breaks along the way.
