Day 1 – Home to Chicago

We’ll depart in the morning en route to Chicago with coffee stops along the way.  An included lunch will be served at the Norske Nook.  Enjoy a free evening with dinner on your own in Chicago.

Day 2 – Chicago to Shipshewana
By motorcoach, we’ll head to Shipshewana, nestled in the heart of Indiana Amish Country.  Experience country cooking, celebrated attractions, and the most popular flea market in the entire midwest just across the street from our hotel.  Take time in the afternoon at the Shipshewana Flea Market and Crafts Festival.  Discover treasure after treasure, everything from handmade quilts to fresh vegetables at a roadside stand.  There are more than 85 different shops and more than 1,000 vendors displaying their wares.   Dinner will be on your own to choose from the many charming restaurants.

Day 3 – Shipshewana
We’ll enjoy breakfast at the hotel before another great day in Amish Country.  Take time to continue browsing through the Flea Market and Crafts Festival.  Later we’ll visit the Amish-Mennonite Story Museum before our evening as special guests at a local farm serving up delicious homestyle cooking.

Day 4 – Shipshewana to Chicago
There will be a little time to find your last treasure in Shipshewana before we depart for Nappanee, a charming Amish community in Indiana.  A special threshers lunch will be served at the unique Round Barn Restaurant before the delightful performance of “Thoroughly Modern Millie” at the Round Barn Theater.  Later we’ll depart for our overnight stay in Chicago.

Day 5 – Chicago to Home
After a hot breakfast at the hotel, we will depart via our luxury motorcoach heading for home.  We’ll enjoy lunch and coffee breaks along the way.

Thoroughly Modern Millie – Based on the 1967 Oscar-winning movie, this musical is about the adventures and ambitions of Millie in New York City during the roaring 20s. As she sets out to get a job as a stenographer, Millieís story unfolds with zany characters and outrageous predicaments!
