Day 1 – Home to Schaumburg, IL
Welcome aboard – is everyone ready for some great “Feel Good Music?!” Today we travel to Illinois, with stops along the way. After checking into our hotel, a pizza party will be perfect for getting to know one another!

Day 2 – Schaumburg to Shipshewana, IN
After breakfast, we depart for the quaint Amish country of Shipshewana, our home for the next three nights. After checking into our hotel, we’re guests at the Blue Gate for a delicious Italian buffet dinner followed by a Gospel concert with Dailey & Vincent! These talented bluegrass musicians will have us clapping along!

Day 3 – Shipshewana
First on the itinerary today after breakfast is a tour of Cook’s Bison Ranch where we’ll not only get educated on the life of a bison, but we’ll also take a wagon ride into the herd to see & feed them. Then we head over to the Stutzman Dairy Farm in time to watch their milking process. We’ll learn what can be made from milk and how the modern dairy cow lives their life on this 6th generation family-owned farm. Afterwards we head back to the Blue Gate for a tasty soup and sandwich lunch before we’re guests for “Stolen The Musical.” A small Pennsylvania community is shaken when the infant son of a prominent Amish family is kidnapped. As accusations fly and everyone comes under suspicion, a quirky, bumbling detective takes on the case. With no real leads and frustrations mounting, the case goes cold. Twenty years later…the town is thrown into turmoil again when Naomi decides to reopen the case and finally discover who kidnapped her little brother. This unique mystery full of intrigue and humor will captivate us from the opening curtain to the final bow. Later this afternoon we are treated to an Amish Buggy ride through Shipshewana as well as time to shop their speciality stores. For dinner a scrumptious two-meat family style dinner is served. This evening we’ll enjoy a concert by Mark Lowry! Mark is a singer, storyteller, humorist, author and songwriter. In 1984 he wrote the lyrics to one of the most loved modern Christmas songs of this century, “Mary Did You Know?” A trusted voice in the realm of gospel music and beyond, he’s an innately entertaining communicator who can, at once, make audiences laugh, cry, and think. Mark also spent more than 20 collective years as the baritone singer for the Gaither Vocal Band!

Day 4 – Shipshewana
Breakfast is served this morning before we have a short tour & shopping time at Lambright Country Chimes. As we listen to the beautiful chimes we’ll learn about the company’s unique start and its success today! Next we depart on a fascinating, guided Amish Tour that will provide us with an inside look at their community. After another wonderful lunch at the Blue Gate, we will continue our guided tour of Shipshewana’s Amish country. We’ll then return to the hotel to freshen up. A wonderful dinner precedes a special concert by Ernie Haase & Signature Sound plus The Hoppers! EHSS is one of the most popular and beloved quartets in all of Southern Gospel music, and they’ve had the honor of performing all over the world. As group founder, Haase is a creative, hard-working tenor whose early roots with the unforgettable and legendary Southern Gospel quartet, The Cathedrals, helped begin his dream to form a powerhouse group of his own. And with their unmistakable four-part harmonies, that’s just what he did!

Day 5 – Shipshewana to Fort Atkinson, WI
We’ll have one last great breakfast at the Blue Gate before we head to the Dutch Creek Animal Farm to experience domestic and exotic animal’s first-hand on a safari-style wagon ride: antelopes, water buffalo, zebras and more! Be sure to visit the Petting Zoo and feed the monkeys! After lunch we depart for Fort Atkinson and settle into our hotel before we head to the Fireside Dinner Theatre for a delightful dinner followed by “Cinderella.” Enjoy this live stage production of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s musical adaptation of one of the world’s most enduring love stories and be captivated by its humor, its romance, its beauty, and its great, great music!
