DAY 1 – Home to St. Charles, Illinois

Depart with high expectations of finding several prize antiques & collectibles. Our luxury motorcoach will stop for morning coffee, noon lunch and afternoon coffee break before winding it’s way into historic St. Charles, Illinois on the beautiful Fox River. We check into our lovely Hampton Inn before we head to Al Capone’s Hideaway & Steakhouse, where the food, the Roaring 20’s atmosphere and music are hard to resist.

DAY 2 – St. Charles

A hot breakfast will be served before we head off on our Amazing Antique Hunt. On the east bank of the Fox River we enjoy a welcome reception, complete with coffee & cookies. Then explore the historic shops of Century Corners and 3rd Street – a unique collection of shops in downtown St. Charles. We will then gather our finds, load the coach and head over to Antique Markets I & III where more than 50 dealers offer their treasure trove of antiques & collectibles.

Included lunch will be enjoyed at The Filling Station Grill, filled with nostalgic “filling station” memorabilia. After a fun & yummy lunch we head to historic Geneva just a short jaunt from St. Charles for our next antique adventure. Start at the Little Traveler and visit the many other antique shops in the area. The evening tops off the day with a fabulous dinner and live theatre at Pheasant Run Resort. The new Mainstage Theatre is featuring ‘state of the art’ sound & lighting.

DAY 3 – St. Charles

We’ll enjoy breakfast before we embark on another adventure. Our journey begins at Pottawatomic Park with a scenic cruise aboard a paddle wheel riverboat, an exact replica of Mark Twain’s boat. Later we’ll spend the afternoon searching for treasures at the Kane County Antique Flea Market, coined ‘the best in the west or anywhere’. We have the opportunity to browse the booths of more than a thousand quality dealers featuring antiques, collectibles and “fancy junk”. The evening dinner is included at Sweet Tomatoes featuring the longest salad bar in all of Illinois. We’ll spend the rest of the evening elaborating on our fantastic finds and enjoy “show & tell” to all.

DAY 4 – St. Charles to Home

After another hot breakfast at our hotel we leave for home with moments to reflect on our fascinating journey back in time where we envy a more relaxing, less stressful time. We stop for our usual coffee breaks and enjoy an included lunch at Burnstad’s European Restaurant and specialty shops before our amazing Antique Hunt comes to a close.
