Day 1 – Home to Delavan Lake

Our fun begins as we depart and head east through the wonderful winter wonderland in Wisconsin. We will make our way to the Cranberry Country Lodge for lunch in Tomah. Then we continue, stopping for a coffee break before we get to our destination for three nights, the Delavan Lake Resort. Once we get checked in, you will have time to walk around and get familiar with the resort. Dinner tonight will be at Celebration on Wells which you will thoroughly enjoy.

Day 2 – Delavan Lake

Get ready for a fun-filled day! We will start by making our way to the Village for breakfast. Next, we travel to Racine for a tour of the SC Johnson Administration Building, which is celebrated as one of the top 25 buildings of the 21st century. From its 43 miles of Pyrex glass tubing to the dendriform columns soaring in the Great Workroom, it is truly a unique work of art that reflects the innovation and adventure that is still the spirit of SC Johnson today. After our lunch stop we are headed to the Yerkes Observatory where we will visit the 90-foot dome, one of the biggest of its kind. Here you will see the 40-inch Refractor, the world’s largest lens type telescope with its impressive 73-foot diameter elevator floor. You will hear a brief talk about the history, astronomical research, and our amazing universe. It is now time to head back to the resort. After you freshen up, we will head to Rosewood for shopping, dinner and the show “Heart & Soul.”

Day 3 – Delavan Lake

We will depart for breakfast as a group. Things are about to get FISHY! Nestled within the Kettle Moraine State Forest lies the Rushing Water Fisheries, which is the nation’s premium Rainbow Trout farm. We will enjoy a guided educational tour and then HOOK & COOK. We will go fishing and have our catch prepared for lunch! This evening we to head to the Fireside Theatre for dinner and a great show. This is a beautiful complex that you will not forget.

Day 4 – Delavan Lake to Home

Depart for a breakfast stop before we head home. We will take time to reminisce about all the great things we have seen and done on this fantastic tour.
