Pre-Departure Cancel For Any Reason Waiver

The following Pre-Departure Cancellation Waiver is provided by R & J Tours, Inc. and is not an insurance benefit.

The Pre-Departure Cancellation Waiver allows you to cancel your R & J Tours, Inc. travel arrangements before your scheduled departure for any reason.

With this Pre-Departure Cancellation Waiver, the amount you paid for your transportation, accommodations, and other travel services arranged and booked by R & J Tours, Inc. will be reimbursed by check, for an amount equal to 100% of the cash, check, or credit card amounts you paid. 

The Pre-Departure Cancellation Waiver does not cover or apply to fees or costs associated with any transportation, accommodations, or other travel services whether they arranged or not by R & J Tours, Inc. The Pre-Departure Cancellation Waiver does not cover any single supplement charges which would occur when your traveling companion needs to cancel and you are unable to find another roommate.

Travel Insurance Benefits underwritten by Arch Insurance Company – while on Tour:

If you are like a lot of people these days, you don’t just look forward to your vacations, you need them. A vacation is your opportunity to rest, relax, and recharge your batteries. Or to catch up with friends and family. Unfortunately, many things happen that might cause you to cancel your travel plans or cut them short: Illness, injury, or the death of a family member. The worst part is, without adequate protection, you can lose your travel investment. The travel insurance benefits may protect your travel investment if your Trip is interrupted for covered reasons for you, a Family Member, a Traveling Companion, or a Business Partner. If you must interrupt your Trip or return home early for a covered reason, the plan will pay (up to 100% of your Trip) for unused, prepaid non-refundable payments or deposits for Your land or water Travel Arrangements, plus the Additional Transportation Cost to return home or rejoin your Trip.

Trip Interruption – Up to 150% Trip Cost:

If you must interrupt your Trip after departure due to a covered reasons, you may be reimbursed for the unused, non-refundable land or water arrangements and the additional transportation cost paid to return home or to rejoin your Trip.  

Travel Delay – $1,500 | $150 per day | 12+ hours

Provides reimbursement up to $150 per day (maximum $1,500) for reasonable accommodation, meal and local transportation expenses if you are delayed for 12 hours or more while en route to or from, or during the course of your Trip due to a covered reason such as common carrier delay; quarantine; loss of passport, travel documents or money; a natural disaster; or a documented weather condition/event.  

Emergency Accident & Sickness Medical Expense – Up to $50,000

Provides reimbursement for medical expenses incurred during your Trip and for emergency dental treatment received during your Trip not to exceed $2,500; for the costs of emergency transport to the nearest Hospital or medical facility, for a covered Injury or Sickness which occurs while on your Trip; or the cost of homeward carriage if deceased. https://partner.roamright.com/description-of-coverage?agencycode=RJTours

24-Hour Accidental Death & Dismemberment – Up to $25,000
These benefits are paid if loss occurs within 365 days of a covered Injury which occurs while on your R & J Tour Trip.  

Baggage and Personal Effect – Up to $2,500

Coverage for direct physical loss or damage to your Baggage, passports, or visas while on your Trip. A $500 maximum limit applies to jewelry, watches, cameras and camera equipment, and furs – a $250 per article limit applies to all other items.  

Baggage Delay – Up to $500

If, while on your Trip, your Baggage is delayed for 24 hours or more, the plan will pay up to $500 for the purchase of necessary additional clothing and personal articles.

Pre-Existing Condition Exclusion Waiver: Available when plan is purchased within 14 days of your initial trip payment, you insure 100% of all travel arrangements that are subject to cancellation penalties or restrictions, and you are not disabled from travel at the time of purchase.

You may cancel this plan by requesting a full refund of Your premium by notifying the program administrator in writing within 10 days after payment for Your policy. Your premium will be refunded, provided that You have not already departed on the Trip or filed a claim. When so returned, all coverages under this policy are void from the inception of the policy. After expiration of the referenced 10 day period, Your premium is non-refundable. The premium for the policy is not divisible.
