Day 1 – Home to Blue Springs, MO

Depart this morning with great anticipation for the Southern Gospel Picnic Celebration and fantastic shows ahead! We’ll stop for lunch and coffee breaks along the way. Arrive in Blue Springs, MO for the night with dinner at your leisure or enjoy the “Kickback” manager’s reception at the hotel.

Day 2 – Blue Springs to Branson, MO

After breakfast we finish our journey to Branson. This afternoon we are in for a real treat as we drive the short distance to Silver Dollar City for their Southern Gospel Picnic Celebration! We’ll enjoy listening to great gospel harmonies and soul-stirring melodies by several Southern Gospel performers. A buffet dinner voucher is provided. One of tonight’s featured performance is The Talleys, who say their songs are “message music. When people hear our songs, we want them to clearly understand the gospel in the lyrics, and know that God really can make a difference in their lives,” says Lauren Talley. The Triumphant Quartet is also featured this evening. With their smooth harmonies and rich quartet sound, they have been named “Fan Favorite” in the Gospel Music field for the last nine years! We will rest well in Branson tonight with gospel lyrics running through our souls!

Day 3 – Branson

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast buffet at the hotel before we depart again for a full day at the Southern Gospel Picnic Celebration. Again there will be gospel artists performing throughout the day on several stages to enjoy. A buffet dinner voucher is provided. The headliners tonight are The Hoppers, a family group who has been singing for 55 years and has even sung for presidential religious inaugural ceremonies! The Mark Dubbeld Family is also headlining. The Dubbelds are impacting lives with a song to sing, a word to write, and a call to answer. So much wonderful gospel music with rich messages will be close to our hearts after today!

Day 4 – Branson

Another breakfast buffet is served at the hotel followed by a free morning. Then we head to Old Town Branson for shopping and strolling through this historic area as well as lunch on our own. Then we set sail on the Branson Showboat Belle for a lovely cruise complete with delicious food and Southern Gospel music! Tonight we attend the Pierce Arrow Show. Between being entertained by the world’s lowest bass singers according to the Guinness Book of World Records and hilarious comedy, we are in for a real treat!

Day 5 – Branson

After breakfast, it’s time for fun as we board a “Duck” for an exciting sightseeing excursion! Early this afternoon we are guests for a behind-the-scenes tour of the incredible Sight & Sound Theatre. It will be a treat to witness how their mechanical sets, 40 foot tall sets, multimedia, and more all come together in a state-of-the-art production that brings classic Bible stories to life! This insightful tour is sure to highten our appreciation and understanding as we find our seats for the spectacular production of “Samson.” He’s the original superhero! He can slay lions and defeat entire armies. But there’s a catch to his superpower: He must follow the rules. And that’s where the trouble begins. Experience this Bible story in jaw-dropping scale – It’s an unforgettable, uplifting thrill ride that literally brings the house down! Then we head to Montana Mike’s for an included dinner before being part of a Murder Mystery event at the Titanic, complete with a guided tour of this remarkable Museum.

Day 6 – Branson to Blue Springs, MO

One more breakfast at the Radisson, then we tour the College of the Ozarks, a Christian, liberal arts college whose vision is to develop citizens of Christ-like character who are well-educated, hard-working, and patriotic. Before departing Branson, lunch is included at Bob Evans. We will then travel back to Blue Springs for the night. Enjoy dinner on your own or the “Kickback” Manager’s Reception.

Day 7 – Blue Springs to Home

Rise and shine for one last breakfast together before heading home. Enjoy the new friendships you have made and the Southern Gospel music in your heart while traveling north to Minnesota with lunch and coffee stops on the way.
