Today we board our flight for Munich, Germany and experience some of the most beautfiul Christmas Markets in the world!

Join fellow holiday travelers for a tour of Munich and its lovely Christmas decorations including some of Munich’s best sightseeing. Visit breathtaking Nyphenburg Palace before returning to the hotel for a special wine and cheese reception followed by a welcome dinner.

3. Munich
Get in the spirit and visit Munich’s famed Christmas Market. Explore this Christmas Wonderland with your expert guide or at your leisure. The rest of the day is free to enjoy Munich’s Christmas Markets and try the famous Lebkuchen and Gluhwein. This evening is at your leisure to enjoy one of the many Bavarian restaurants on your own.

4. Munich

This morning we make our way through a winter wonderland of the Bavarian Alps and Tyrolean mountains to the lovely Tyrolean capital of Innsbruck. A guide will show you the sights, including the stately Court Palace and the famous Golden Roof of Innsbruck. Then take time to stroll through the town’s festive Christmas Market before retuning to Munich for a restful evening.

5. Munich to Rothenburg

Today follow Germany’s picturesque romantic Road, stopping in quaint Augsburg before reaching the city of Rothenburg. This charming town features ramparts and towers, cobbled lanes, and a 16th centry houses. Your childhood memories will come to life as you see the many figurines and Christmas crafts as we visit world-famous Kate Wohlfahrt Christmas which includes a special surprise for our travelers. Take a walking tour of this exquisite Medieval town, and then browse the markets. Spend the evening in Bad Windsheim.

6. Rothenburg to Salzburg

Take off for Nuremberg this morning, home to Germany’s finest Christmas Markets. While there, see the sights and tour the Kaiserburg. After enjoying the sights, motor along beautiful scenery as we make our way to Salzburg, Austria for dinner and a two night stay.

7. Salzburg
This morning, take a guided tour of the City of Music. This afternoon enjoy the atmosphere of Adventrszeit as we stroll through the festive Christmas Market, famous for local handicrafts and unique Christmas presents just waiting for your loved ones to receive! You may want to join your tour director for an optional excursion to the house Gruber, the composer of Silent Night, Holy Night. This evening is at your leisure to discover your own musical wonderland. Tonight we enjoy a farewell dinner celebration at the Hohen Salzburg Fortress featuring a classical concert!

8. Salzburg to Home
After breakfast we depart for the airport and board our flight for home.
