1. Home to Glenndale
We depart this morning for a getaway featuring some of Wisconsin’s most enjoyable attractions. We’ll stop for coffee breaks and lunch along the way. Depart for Greendale Village home of Reiman Publications. This is a special time of year as this evening the village is displaying “A Dicken’s Christmas.” Tour Reiman Publications where the popular magazines “Taste of Home” and “Birds and Bloom” is printed. Enjoy the test kitchen of Taste of Home and the Visitor Center. See the innovative birdhouses and feeders entered into the National Birdhouse Contest. Take some time to browse the great Country Store Outlet. A holiday dinner will be served at the famous Taste of Home Restaurant.

2. Glenndale
This morning after breakfast we depart for Milwaukee. Enjoy a christmas tour of the beautiful Brumber Mansion before a wonderful holiday brunch in one of the elobrate rooms featuring lovely holiday decorations. After you will be entertained in the mansion theater as a storyteller shares the Christmas Classic “A Christmas Carol.” Later we’ll tour the outstanding Pabst Mansion at Christmas. Stroll through the many rooms beautifully decorated for the Christmas Season. Later join us as we attend the fabulous Fireside Dinner Theatre as they perform A Fireside Christmas. From time-honored favorites to bright new dances and story. Hear the music, feel the excitement and find in your heart the true spirit of Christmas. Your hearts will be warmed as the story unfolds on the intimate stage of the Fireside Theater.

3. Glenndale to Home
After breakfast we begin our way home. Visit the Lowe’s Creek Tree Farm where we will hear a fascinating story behind the growth of the Christmas tree while we gather around the wood stove in the log cabin warming house. Warm yourselves with yummy hot apple cider and candy canes as we see a demonstration of wreath making. Someone may even win a wreath to take home and enjoy. Return home with great memories of “A Fireside Christmas.”
