Day 1 – Home to Lansing, IL
Our motorcoach leaves today with an included lunch along the way. Our lodging for the night will be in Lansing, IL.

Day 2 – Holland, Michigan
Travel to Holland, an all-American city with a Dutch accent! Spend some time exploring Nelis’ Dutch Village and have lunch on your own before we enjoy all the pre-parade activities, the Klompen Dancers, and the street scrubbing. Then, for the main event, the Volksparade. This is preceded by the town crier’s announcement that the streets are too dirty for a public event. He orders a brigade of costumed scrubbers to the streets, and with pails swinging from their shoulders, they splash and scrub until the pavement shines. There will be some free time to explore Holland before a dinner and show!

Day 3 – Holland to Elgin, IL
We welcome a local guide and enjoy a city tour of Holland. Have lunch on your own at Tante Nellies. Visit Windmill Island and view the Dezwaan, a 240-year-old working Dutch Windmill, surrounded by over 100,000 tulips. Enjoy the Veldheer Tulip Gardens that are graced with millions of tulips of every color of the rainbow. Watch craftsmen at the Deklomp Wooden Shoe and Delft Factory as they carve wooden shoes by hand and by machine. This evening we will overnight in Elgin, IL and gather for our final dinner together.

Day 4 – Elgin to Home
We’ll board our coach for home with fond memories. Enjoy an included lunch enroute.
