Day 1 – Home to Delavan, WI 

With excitement, we’ll set out for Delavan today, with comfort stops and lunch on our own along the way. After checking in to the Comfort Suites, we’ll head to the Rosewood for a farm fresh buffet and “The Beat Goes On” show. This upbeat show will have you tapping your toe to hits by Glen Miller Band, Chuck Berry, The Andrews Sisters, Elvis, Ray Charles, Carl Perkins, The Monkees, Jerry Lee Lewis, Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, The Jackson Five, Johnny Cash & more!

Day 2 – Delavan to Shipshewana, IN 

We’ll enjoy breakfast at the hotel before we depart for quaint Shipshewana, our home for the next two nights. Delicious soup & sandwich are served, then we’re guests at the Blue Gate Event Center to hear the “Gaither Vocal Band.” With their powerhouse vocals, innovative harmonies, and life-altering message of grace, hope, and redemption, the Gaither Vocal Band is incomparable! After checking into our hotel, we’re guests at the Blue Gate Theatre for dinner and “The Best of Me: A New Musical Comedy.” After one too many burnt batches of bread, two too many crooked quilts and a few more gardening glitches than a person can handle, Rachel Miller decides to step out of her comfort zone on the farm and see how ‘the other half’ lives. After all, she’s seen the Telemundo soap opera actresses on the TV at Walmart. How hard can this acting thing be?!?!? But after trading in the “Amish apple dumpling” for the “Big Apple,” Rachel finds out the grass isn’t always greener on the other side. In fact, there may not be any grass at all! We’ll laugh a lot and may even cry a little as we follow the Amish girl, a fading Broadway star, and a handsome stranger in their quest to find the best of themselves.

Day 3 – Shipshewana 

Enjoy breakfast at leisure before we depart on a fascinating, guided Amish Tour that will provide us with an inside look at their community. Afterwards a scrumptious, family-style lunch is served at the Blue Gate Restaurant. Next we will experience a peaceful ride through Shipshewana by Amish buggy! There will also be a little time for shopping as well before enjoying a family-style dinner at the Blue Gate Restaurant. Tonight we are treated to the talented Collingsworth Family, who has been entertaining and inspiring listeners for decades. The excitement, spiritual anointing, family emphasis and musical excellence is something to see and hear!

Day 4 – Shipshewana to Schaumburg, IL 

After another pleasant breakfast, we depart for Dutch Creek Farm Animal Park where we’ll experience domestic and exotic animals first-hand on a safari-style wagon ride. See antelope, water buffalo, zebra, and more – don’t forget to visit the petting zoo & feed the monkeys! We’ll have a tasty lunch back at the Blue Gate Restaurant before taking in the “Oak Ridge Boys” concert. With phenomenal harmonies and an amazing career that’s spanned several decades, they are true country legends! Then we travel to Schaumburg, IL. and check into the Hampton Inn. Tonight we’ll enjoy a pizza party together.

Day 5 – Schaumburg to Home 

Enjoy our last meal together before we make our way home, with comfort stops and lunch on your own along the way. We will reminisce about all the great music we’ve listened to and all the wonderful sights we’ve experienced over the last few days!
