Day 1 – Home to Bloomington, IL
Our faith, music and history adventure begins as we travel east through Wisconsin and into Illinois. We’ll stop for a delicious included lunch in Tomah, before continuing across the beautiful Wisconsin countryside. As we make our way into Illinois, sit back, relax and enjoy getting acquainted with your fellow travelers. Upon arrival in Bloomington, we’ll check into the DoubleTree Hotel for the night. Dinner this evening is on your own at the restaurant conveniently attached to our hotel.

Day 2 – Bloomington, IL to Florence, KY
After breakfast at the hotel, we continue our journey to Indianapolis, where racing history comes alive at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum. Discover the legendary stories, cars and personalities behind the Indianapolis 500 and one of the most famous racing venues in the world. We hope to include a tour of the famous Indianapolis Motor Speedway track as well, IF the track tour is available today. Then it’s on to Florence, Kentucky, where we’ll check into the beautiful Drury Plaza Hotel for three nights. This evening, we’ll head to the Ohio River for a memorable dinner cruise aboard BB Riverboats. Enjoy a delicious dinner, beautiful river views and a relaxing evening on the water as we cruise through the Cincinnati area.

Day 3 – Florence (Patriots Landing & Ark Encounter)
A wonderful day of faith and patriotism awaits us today! We’ll start with breakfast at our hotel before we visit Patriots Landing, a special woodshop where veterans build handcrafted products – and rebuild parts of themselves in the process. This special experience honors the connection between our nation’s veterans, faith, and the freedoms we enjoy. We’ll hear stories that remind us of the sacrifices made by those who have served our country and the importance of faith and patriotism in the lives of many veterans. We’ll also have the opportunity to participate in a hands-on make-and-take project, creating a special patriotic, wooden keepsake to take home and remember this meaningful visit. Then we continue to Ark Encounter, where the incredible story of Noah and the Ark comes to life! Enjoy an included lunch before spending time exploring this remarkable full-size replica of the Ark, down to the exact size and detail described in the Old Testament of the Bible. With its impressive exhibits, detailed craftsmanship and fascinating presentations, there is plenty to discover as we consider the biblical account of Noah from a whole new perspective. Later this afternoon we’ll gather for a special music concert as part of the Ark’s incredible 40 Days of Christian Music Festival. What a wonderful way to experience uplifting music in such a unique setting! Afterward, we’ll enjoy an included dinner as we make our way back toward the hotel.

Day 4 – Florence (Creation Museum & Cincinnati)
After breakfast, we’re off to the Creation Museum, where the pages of the Bible come alive through powerful exhibits, displays and experiences. Explore the biblical account of creation and discover how the museum connects Scripture, science and history. There is plenty to see and experience as we spend the morning exploring this fascinating museum. An included lunch at the Creation Museum will give us time to relax and refuel before our afternoon adventure. Next, we travel into Cincinnati to visit the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center. A staff member will give us an overview of this important museum and its mission. Then enjoy time to explore on your own, discovering the powerful stories of those who sought freedom through the Underground Railroad and learning about the ongoing pursuit of freedom in America. We’ll return to our hotel this evening where you can enjoy the Drury Plaza’s Kickback Reception which is a complete light meal. The rest of the evening is yours to relax.

Day 5 – Florence to Bloomington, IL
Breakfast is served at the hotel before we begin our journey back toward Illinois. This afternoon brings us to Springfield for a fascinating visit to the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum. We’ll step back in time and discover the life, leadership, and legacy of one of America’s most beloved presidents. Through engaging exhibits, historical artifacts and immersive displays, we’ll learn more about Abraham Lincoln, his presidency and the defining moments of our nation’s history. After our visit, we’ll continue to Bloomington and check into the DoubleTree Hotel. This evening, we’ll gather together for an included dinner at Barrel House. It will be a wonderful opportunity to share favorite memories from our journey before our final day of travel.

Day 6 – Bloomington to Home
After breakfast at the hotel, we’ll begin our final journey home. Sit back and enjoy the scenery as we travel through Illinois and Wisconsin, with comfortable stops and lunch on your own along the way. What a wonderful journey filled with meaningful moments of faith, inspiring music, fascinating history and memories to carry home with us!
