Grandparents, parents, children and grandchildren! Come with family or join our family by yourself! Memories that are made together are so special, so we want to invite you and your children and grandchildren (ages 7 and older) to join us!

Day 1 – Home to Chicago

Start out early as we travel to the Windy City! Before arriving, dinner is at Giordano’s Pizza where we will enjoy mouthwatering deep-dish Chicago Pizza. Then we’ll check into the Hampton Inn in downtown Chicago for a two night stay. Take a swim or go for a walk on the Magnificent Mile. Eat at a local restaurant and enjoy the sights and sounds of the city.

Day 2 – Chicago

Following breakfast we’ll start our day at the Shedd Aquarium – the largest indoor aquarium in the world! We’ll enjoy time viewing dolphins, exotic fish, and maybe a few surprises! Enjoy time at Navy Pier for lunch before boarding our Architecture Cruise on the Chicago River this afternoon. Learn about Chicago’s historic role as the birthplace of modern American architecture and about more than 40 famous buildings along the scenic route. Then we’ll take a walk through Millenium Park and view the “Cloudgate”sculpture and maybe even get our feet wet in one of the pools.

Day 3 – Chicago to Schaumburg

After breakfast we will continue our touring of Chicago with our first stop at the Museum of Science and Industry where we’ll be able to view a German Submarine, walk through a heart, and go into a coal mine. After lunch on our own it’s on to the Skydeck, where we will travel 103 stories up at the Willis Tower and get a grand view of the Chicago area. If you are brave enough you can step out on “the ledge.” Then we travel to Schaumburg and check into our hotel for the evening before we attend dinner at Medieval Times where the 11th century comes to life. There will be horses and knights and jousting and lots of fun! It will be a great evening to spend together!

Day 4 – Schaumburg to Home

We board the motorcoach after breakfast and begin our trip towards home. We’ll enjoy telling stories of our adventures and watching the countryside pass by. We’ll stop for an included lunch along the way before we arrive back home.
