Day 1 – Home to Omaha, NE

This morning come aboard our luxury mortorcoach as we take you back in time for Christmas Around the World in Omaha! We will enjoy coffee breaks and lunch along the way before we reach our hotel for a three nights stay. Tonight, step back into holiday splendor of merry olde England with true English pageantry at the Madrigal Christmasse Feaste. You will be entertained with authentic mirth and song and have a feast fit for royalty! This unique “dinner theatre” sends you back to the Renaissance years for a festive holiday evening at an old English castle. What a way to start your Christmas season off!!

Day 2 – Omaha

After an enjoyable breakfast we board the motorcoach for a guided driving tour of Omaha’s past, present and future. Highlights include the Historic Old Market Entertainment District, Lewis & Clark Landing, Historic Gold Coast District, Billionaire Warren Buffet’s home, Joslyn Castle and much more. We then spend time at The Durham Museum where Ethnic communities have decorated small holiday trees to represent their own unique heritage. This building is the former Union Station where you can look over the many rail cars. Next we will give you time to do a little Christmas shopping in the Old Market District. Afterwards we visit St. John’s Greek Orthodox Church, built in 1908, for dinner and a tour of this Byzantine style church. We will learn how Christmas is celebrated in Greece when we join members of the congregation for dinner and a holiday program. Tonight we will head to the Omaha Community Playhouse to see the traditional “Christmas Carol,” a professional production of Dickens’ classic tale with fabulous sets, gorgeous costumes and music! What a way to spend our day in festive Omaha!!

Day 3 – Omaha

This morning breakfast is served at the hotel before we head to Boys Town to celebrate an Irish Christmas at Father Flanagan’s House where the home is decorated in Irish holiday traditions. Tour Boys Town Hall of History and Father Flanagan’s house. Lunch is served at the Joslyn Art Museum & Cafe before departing to view hundreds of poinsettias on display at the Lauritzen Gardens. Enjoy the poinsettias or do a little shopping in their large gift shop. During dinner at the hotel this evening, we will enjoy the sounds of folk singer, David Marsh, as he performs a Christmas show that we won’t soon forget! Lastly, tonight we attend the dazzling Omaha Symphony Christmas Celebration performance – there will be Broadway singers and tap-dancing santas performing Christmas classics and contemporary favorites in a fun and festive concert. This is a day you will long remember!

Day 4 – Omaha to Home

After breakfast at the hotel, we board the motorcoach and journey home. With Christmas music softly playing and grand memories from our Christmas in Omaha tour, we will have lots to talk about with our new found tour friends!
