1st DAY Home to Sturgeon Bay
This morning we pass through the St. Croix Valley and across Wisconsin to Sturgeon Bay and Door County. R & J Tours has chosen the beautiful Stone Harbor Resort perfectly set on the waterfront. This outstanding resort is nestled in the heart of downtown Sturgeon Bay Village and features its own marina. This evening attend a local dinner theater that has received rave reviews.

2nd DAY Sturgeon Bay
This morning our local step-on guide joins us for the next two days. Tour the peninsula, countryside, along the lake villages, beside the orchards, to the “Top of the Thumb,” and back along the Bay Villages including Bailey’s Harbor and Ephraim. Other highlights include Northport Pier and Gills Rock, Eagle Harbor Lighthouse, and Peninsula State Park. Lunch today is at famous Al Johnson’s Swedish Restaurant. Visit Door County’s fascinating Historical Museum and the delightful Maritime Museum. This evening you are free to browse the many charming shops of Sturgeon Bay and choose from one of the many restaurants within the village.

3rd DAY Sturgeon Bay
Our local guide joins us again for another great day of touring. There will be time to really experience every aspect of the peninsula. Highlights of the day will be the west side of Sturgeon Bay, shipyards and Michigan Canal. Stop at the precious Old Rugged Cross. Lunch will be on your own to choose from one of the many charming cafes or restaurants. Shop in historic Egg Harbor, and visit Cave Point & Whitefish Dunes State Park. We’ll drive along Scenic Bay Shore Drive, see the Sherwood Point Lighthouse, Quarry Site, and Horseshoe Bay Farms. A special treat will be a short piano concert in Jacksonport. Tonight we will experience one of the best fish boils in Door County. We have chosen a traditional setting dating back to the 1900’s. An event you will long remember!

4thDAY Sturgeon Bay to Home
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel this morning and take one last walk along the marina. Bid good-bye to beautiful Door County the “Cape Cod of the midwest”. Enjoy the company of traveling friends as we make our way home!
