Day 1 – Home to Kingman, AZ
We’ll fly into Las Vegas today and then head southeast where we’ll overnight in Kingman, Arizona. We will check into our hotel and then enjoy a great dinner together looking forward to the awesome journey ahead of us.

Day 2 – Kingman to Yavapai/Grand Canyon, AZ
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Today we’ll travel to the magnificent Grand Canyon for a jaw dropping experience. One of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Grand Canyon is more than one mile deep and many miles wide – it is one of the nature’s most spectacular examples of erosion. The first glimpse of the Grand Canyon is always breathtaking with its stunning color and vastness. We’ll motor along the canyon rim taking time for photo stops. Later we’ll enjoy dinner and look for the sunset over the canyon.

Day 3 – Yavapai to Springdale, UT
Today we’ll leave the Grand Canyon behind and make our way into the beautiful red-rock country of southern Utah! We’ll travel north through the high desert, passing through the communities of Cameron and Page before continuing into Utah. As we travel through Kanab and the spectacular landscape of southern Utah, the scenery gradually changes to towering red-rock cliffs and rugged desert formations. We’ll continue through the town of Hurricane and along the scenic route towards Zion National Park, arriving in the charming town of Springdale. Here we’ll check into the Red Cliffs Lodge Zion, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, located just steps from the gateway of Zion National Park. Tonight, sit back and relax as we enjoy an included dinner at the lodge, surrounded by the beautiful scenery of southern Utah with its majestic red cliffs and starry night skies.

Day 4 – Springdale to Bryce Canyon National Park
This morning we will enjoy spectacular Zion National Park. In sheer magnitude and color, Zion is very likely one of the most awe-inspiring parks in the world. Here we will have the joy of gazing up at massive sandstone cliffs of cream, pink and red that soar into a brilliant blue sky. We will begin with a private, narrated open-air tram tour. With soaring canyon walls on both sides and the Virgin River running parallel to us, we’ll experience some of Zion’s most treasured spots. Lunch will be enjoyed together at the Zion Lodge. Then if you choose you can hike up a slot canyon or follow a trail to beautiful emerald pools. Time will be given to enjoy the park on another tram that makes many stops to enjoy the views. This afternoon we will continue our spectacular journey towards Bryce Canyon National Park. We’ll arrive at our hotel, which is just outside the entrance of the park, and spend the next two nights.

Day 5 – Bryce Canyon
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before we embark on a day of touring spectacular Bryce Canyon National Park. Experience thousands of delicately carved spires as they rise in brilliant color from the amphitheaters of Bryce Canyon. Millions of years of wind, water and geologic mayhem have shaped and etched the cliffs at Bryce, which isn’t actually a canyon but the eastern slope of the Paunsaguant Plateau. Motor along the rim road, where magnificent spires known as “hoodoos” show colors of pink, orange, and red. We may see wildlife, including pronghorn, coyotes, marmots, and prairie dogs. Bryce Canyon is famous for its hiking trails, offering a closer look at bird species and colorful wildflowers. Return to the hotel for a free afternoon. Tonight, we’ll thoroughly enjoy dinner and a show.

Day 6 – Bryce Canyon to Moab, UT
Today we’ll make our way to Moab, UT. Moab is just outside of Arches and Canyonlands National Parks. Our drive will take us through Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument via Scenic Byway 12, an All-American Road. Traveling over the Hogback, we continue our drive toward Boulder Mountain in the Dixie National Forest and on towards Capitol Reef National Park. This is one of the most spectacular roads in America as we are awed by the scenery around us. This evening we’ll enjoy dinner at the Sunset Grill, the oldest operating restaurant in Moab, and the former home of Uranium King, Charlie Steen.

Day 7 – Moab / Arches & Canyonlands National Parks
Today we tour incredible Arches National Park, which contains the world’s largest concentration of natural stone arches. This National Park is a red, arid desert, punctuated with oddly eroded sandstone forms, such as fins, pinnacles, spires, balanced rocks, and arches that are truly “miracles of nature.” Up next is Canyonlands National Park, which includes a huge area of rugged land west and south of Moab. It consists of canyons and plateaus carved by two mighty rivers, the Colorado and the Green. This evening we’ll take a wine cruise down the mighty Colorado River, through spectacular red rock canyons. We’ll enjoy a delicious dinner once we’ve returned.

Day 8 – Moab to Glenwood Springs, CO
Enjoy breakfast at your leisure as the morning is free to do as you please. Later, we’ll board the luxurious Canyon Spirit Train for a spectacular 2-day rail journey though the Colorado Rockies! The glass dome railcars provide panoramic views of the spectacular & changing scenery as we roll along – picture the stillness of breathtaking canyons to the vigor of gushing rivers! Our all-inclusive Signature experience includes reclining, comfortable seats, snacks, meals, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, storytelling, an outdoor viewing area, and elevated service! A gourmet dinner is served on board before we disembark in delightful Glenwood Springs and check into our hotel.

Day 9 – Glenwood Springs to Denver, CO
We depart Glenwood Springs via the Canyon Spirit once again. Take in the spectacular views of rugged canyons and the Colorado River before crossing the Continental Divide. We’ll continue to enjoy our onboard hosts’ storytelling and delicious food along the way. Be sure to visit the outdoor viewing area as well! Our all-inclusive Signature experience with Canyon Spirit has been wonderful! Soon, we’ll reach the vibrant city of Denver. After disembarking, we’ll check into the wonderful Drury Westminster for two nights.

Day 10 – Denver area
After a wonderful breakfast at the Drury, we’ll meet our step-on guide for a full day of exploring Denver and the surrounding area. We will experience the spectacular views from the Red Rocks Park & Amphitheatre, the switchbacks of the Lariat Loop National Scenic Byway, the Buffalo Bill Museum & Buffalo Bill’s gravesite, and the natural splendor of Lookout Mountain, which offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Colorado landscape. After a delicious group lunch in Golden, you’ll have time to enjoy some shopping before we continue on to a fascinating tour of the Denver Mint which is one of the nation’s oldest operating mints and has played an important role in producing American coinage for more than a century. Finally, we’ll return to our hotel and enjoy the Kickback Reception.

Day 11 – Denver to Home
Gather up your belongings and take one last look at Denver before our flight back to Minnesota with thoughts of the beautiful vistas of Arizona, Utah and Colorado!
