We may spot a Cabela’s in a flagship store,

And love to see animal displays and so much more

You will stand and gaze at this well-known landmark,

Stop at a visitor center and read the features yourself,

Before you depart.

There will be ruts and trails along the way,

Even a river and some fossil beds.

You’ll find some exhibits and artifacts,

These sights are free, you will not pay.

Lunch with folks at a very grand place

Then move on to a great education center,

Where you will learn about bison who perished,

As well as a group who would make a good renter.

You will learn about fur trade,

And several Homestead places.

Enjoy sarsaparilla and pie,

That will make happy faces!

An amazing display of old cars

You must see.

Pioneers and Native Americans,

And railroad history.

You will view a courthouse and visit a jail,

One of the smallest in the country.

And you will see a church that’s very unique,

For this place of worship has been rolled into a bale!

Enjoy the west at its best in a grand shoot-out,

Right on main street,

Re-created to look like the 1880’s –

It will be a real treat.

You will visit a trading post

On this whimsical trip.

That’s said to be the largest and best,

But they will take none of your lip!
