2. Escanaba to Mackinac Island
Travel along Lake Michigan and cross the famous Mackinac Bridge to Mackinaw City, where we ferry across Lake Huron to Mackinac Island. A horse and buggy awaits to take us downtown for some free time to eat and do some shopping. Later tour the sights of the island by horse drawn carriage. Check into the world famous Grand Hotel and the remainder of the day is free to enjoy sightseeing on this quaint and lovely island. Dinner is served at your hotel. Tonight take a stroll along the porch of the Grand Hotel overlooking water’s edge.

3. Mackinac Is. to Frankenmuth
Breakfast is served at the hotel with some free time on the island. This afternoon travel to Frankenmuth, Michigan, for a two night stay. There will be time to browse the shops and choose dinner from one of the many restaurants. Enjoy River Place with over 30 shos and attractions with a ride on the Bavarian Bell Boat.

4. Frankenmuth
Enjoy a city tour of Frankenmuth. See St. Lorenz Lutheran Church and visit famous Bronner’s Christmas Store before a leisurely afternoon in this quaint little Bavarian village. Lunch is at the famous Bavarian Inn Restaurant. Tonight tour Bronner’s beautiful display of Christmas lights. See the replica of the Austrian Silent Night Memorial Chapel, built as a tribute to God, and where “Silent Night” was first sung on Christmas Eve in 1818.
