JULY 28; DAY 1 – Home to Medora, ND

Today we depart for another exciting R&J farm tour. We enjoy a delightful noon lunch along the way as well as coffee breaks. Our hotel for the next three nights will be the Rough Riders Hotel. Dinner is served tonight in the Ballroom of our hotel. Hearing from a guest speaker is a great way to spend our first evening together.

JULY 29; DAY 2 – Medora, ND

We enjoy an included Chuck Wagon Breakfast before a great day of touring activities begins. We will tour the Theodore Roosevelt National Park with Cowboy Lyle as our step-on guide. As we take a leisurely drive through 36 miles of a scenic loop which covers 70,400 acres of the breathtaking North Dakota Badlands, we may see real prairie dog towns, deer, buffalo, and wild horses. Later this morning we drive to Beach ND and the “Home on the Range Ranch” for needy and troubled boys and girls. We will have a tour of their facilities, a cook-out lunch, a demonstration of horse therapy, and learn more about their mission. We return to Medora for some shopping or free time before we leave for a great evening of food at the Pitchfork Fondue and entertainment at the acclaimed “Medora Musical” variety show.

JULY 30; DAY 3 – Watford City, ND

We again enjoy a full Chuck Wagon Breakfast before another day of exciting touring. This morning we make ourway up into the North Dakota Oil Country. As we travel along we notice all the oil activity. Soon we reach Watford ND, the heart of some of the oil exploration, where we pick up our step-on guide. Our guide will explain and show us some of the interesting facets of the oil industry. Our noon lunch will be at one of the local restaurants. Once back in Medora we explore “Chateau de Mores” and learn about the founding and history of Medora. Tonight our dinner will be a Pig Roast at the first class Bully Pulpit Golf Course, located in the awe-inspiring North Dakota Badlands. Fall in love with the wild and breathtaking scenery as we enjoy a great evening together.

JULY 31; DAY 4 – Medora to Home

After a Chuck Wagon Breakfast at the hotel, we depart for home with coffee breaks and lunch along the way. Return home enriched from a wonderful Farm Tour experience!
