Day 1 – Home to New York City

Today we fly to New York City, where we’ll be transported to our hotel, the Sheraton New York at Times Square. The location of our hotel is perfect for seeing the city over the next few days! We’ll get our first taste of the Big Apple as we walk to Angelo’s Pizza, a 4th generation pizza-making family dynasty, for a delicious dinner!

Included Meals: Dinner

Hotel: Sheraton New York at Times Square (4 Nights)

Days 2 & 3 – New York City

These two delightful days will be filled with great sights & experiences as we explore NYC. Our local expert guide will lead us on a journey we’ll long remember, including ferrying out to the Statue of Liberty, symbolizing American freedom to all. Enjoy a walk around Liberty Island. Then visit Ellis Island and discover, by exhibits, the 12 million people who came here looking for a better life. Our guide will take us to Wall Street, World Trade Site, Chinatown, the Garment District, Empire State Building, the Lincoln Building, the Brooklyn Bridge, Greenwich Village, Katz Deli, a walk through Central Park, a visit to Harlem, spectacular 5th Avenue, Grand Central Station, Ground Zero, and much more! A special visit to the 9/11 Memorial Site & Museum will cause us to pause and remember that fateful day. We’ll experience 360˚ views of NYC from Top of the Rock’s observation decks set 70 floors above Rockefeller Center! The evening of day 2 you will have plenty of time to enjoy the sights and sounds of Times Square and to grab a bite to eat at a classic NY sandwich shop. Perhaps shopping at Macy’s, FAO Schwarz, Saks Fifth Avenue, Barneys New York, Lord & Taylor, or Bloomingdale’s is on your list! On the evening of day 3, we will be attending a grand Broadway play!

Day 4 – New York City

Over the last couple days we have enjoyed many highlights of fabulous NYC! This is still more to discover, so today we will continue our city touring with our remarkable local guide. Then late afternoon we will bid our guide goodbye and return to our hotel. After dinner on your own, we will walk to Central Park where we’ll be treated to a leisurely horse-drawn carriage ride through lovely Central Park! Now that we are familiar with the park after our days of touring, it makes our ride all the more a special way to spend our last evening together!

Day 5 – New York City to Home

This morning we bid goodbye to the hustle & bustle of New York City as we depart for the airport. What fun adventures and memories we’ll share of our New York City Highlights!
