1. Home to Lincoln
This morning we depart on our exciting winter getaway. Our first night will be in Lincoln, Nebraska.

2. Lincoln to Cheyenne
Enjoy a light breakfast at the hotel before we depart. Journey across Nebraska and on into Wyoming where we will settle into our hotel in Cheyenne. This evening join us for a welcome barbecue dinner!

3. Cheyenne to Salt Lake City
Today after breakfast at the hotel we depart for Salt Lake City, Utah. Arrive in Salt Lake City and check into your hotel.

4. Salt Lake City to Laughlin
Arrive in Laughlin, a very popular destination. Your hotel is the beautiful Golden Nugget on the shores of the Colorado River. This evening is at leisure. Chose from many of the great restaurants surrounding your hotel.

5. Laughlin to Palm Springs
(The fly option group arrives today in Palm Springs and joins the tour this afternoon.) Depart Laughlin this morning and motor to Palm Springs. Check into the beautiful resort hotel located in the heart of Palm Springs for 6 nights. Your hotel is perfectly located near famous Palm Canyon Drive which offers an abundance of unique restaurants and wonderful shops and boutiques.

6. Palm Springs
Awake in paradise and enjoy breakfast at your leisure. A local step on guide joins us today to show us around Palm Springs including the neighborhoods of the rich and famous. We’ll make an interesting stop at the Palm Springs Air Museum. This afternoon take an included trip to the Living Desert Museum where you will see beautiful displays of desert plant and wildlife. This evening you can enjoy the traditional Village Fest! Discover an old-time street fair that transforms downtown Palm Springs into a charming international bazaar with over 100 vendors featuring a farmers market, fine art, ceramics, woodworking, entertainment, and antiques.

7. Palm Springs
This morning is at leisure before visiting the Oasis Date Gardens for an intersting tour. We then board covered wagons and head into the California desert. Hear about desert plants and wildlife. Enjoy an included barbecue lunch with western entertainment. This evening after dinner, you are guests at The Fabulous Palm Springs Follies where all the performers are 50 to 80 years young! Enjoy this spectacular musical revue!

Travel to Escondido for an included lunch and wonderful musical at the Lawrence Welk Resort!

9. Palm Springs
Enjoy Sunday brunch at Melvyn’s, an elegant restaurant which is a favorite with celebrities. This afternoon visit Twenty-Nine Palms with a spectacular aerial tram ride as you ascend from palms to the pines. The panoramic view of Palm Springs from atop this 8,500 feet peak of Mount San Jacinto is amazing! The rest of the day you may want to lounge around the sparkling pool or pursue your own interests.

10. Palm Springs to Lake Havasu

After breakfast depart for Lake Havasu, Arizona and check into one of the state’s most popular resort areas. Unpack and relax for the next 2 nights at the lovely London Bridge Resort.

11. Lake Havasu
Enjoy breakfast and a free day here at the resort. Take advantage of this all-suite resort condominium in Lake Havasu set on 110 acres of waterfront. The resort offers two restaurants, a cocktail lounge, three swimming pools. Your suite features a separate living room, and a kitchen and dining area. Enjoy a nightly social hour at the hotel.

Enjoy a hearty breakfast at the hotel this morning. Relax by the pool or do some shopping. Later we visit a local ranch with an included lunch. Return to the hotel for a leisurely evening

13. Lake Havasu to Sedona
(The Flyaway group departs for home today.)After breakfast depart for Sedona, a charming southwest artist community with shops, cafes, and galleries lining the streets. We’ll check into the hotel for a restful evening. Some may want to sign up for an optional cowboy cookout.

14. Sedona
Today we climb aboard the Grand Canyon Railroad for an exciting train ride to the spectacular Grand Canyon. Ride in First Class seating as you pass crimson cliffs and through some of the most striking scenery only accessible by train. In the Grand Canyon Village we’ll enjoy a tour and delightful lunch on own. Return to Sedona for a restful evening.

15. Sedona to Santa Fe
After breakfast we depart for New Mexico “Land of Enchantment.” Pass through Albuquerque and on to Santa Fe for a restful evening. This evening enjoy dinner at a local favorite restaurant here in Santa Fe.

16. Santa Fe to Denver
This morning after breakfast we begin our journey north with a beautiful drive offering spectacular Rocky Mountain scenery as we pass through Colorado Springs and on into Denver for a restful evening.

17. Denver to Linclon
A light breakfast is served at the hotel before we make our way to Lincoln for the evening.
