Day 1. Home to Bloomington
Today we begin our journey south in hopes of sunshine. Enjoy an included noon lunch today along the way. Relax at the hotel this evening in Bloomington, IL.

Day 2. Bloomington to Nashville
After breakfast we pass through the landscapes of Kentucky to Nashville. Enjoy a brief city tour before checking into the hotel. This evening join us for a snack and beverage reception at the hotel.

Day 3. Nashville to Panama City
Enjoy a breakfast at the hotel before we traveling to sunny Florida where sandy beaches await you. Check into the Edgewater Resort your oceanfront home for the next 25 days! (The Fly Away group joins us in Panama City today.) Take advantage of the great location within walking distance to many restaurants, shops, attractions, and of course the beach! Join us for a welcome Barbeque dinner poolside with our traveling friends.

Day 4 – Day 28. Panama City
Spend the next 25 days relaxing and enjoying your surroundings. R & J Tours will include a day excursion to Mobile including a tour to the Bellingrath Gardens. Also enjoy a cruise on the Gulf during your stay. We will also plan R & J get together activities at the resort with fun things to do as a group throughout your stay. Enjoy 2 Dinners and 3 Luncheons during your stay in Panama City.

Day 29. Panama City to Corinth
Travel to Corinth today and settle in for a restful night. (The Fly Away group flys home today.)

Day 30. Cornith to Peoria
A light breakfast is served before we depart for Peoria today. Enjoy for last evening as a group tonight.

Day 31. Peoria to Home
After breakfast this morning we make our final stretch home with lunch and coffee breaks along the way. We’ll visit with our new traveling friends before arriving home this evening.

ABOUT THE EDGEWATER RESORT

~Pool~

The Lagoon pool is the largest pool in Panama City Beach. Boasting over 11,000 sq. ft. of Polynesian-style, free-form surface area and an elaborate system of waterfalls and islands within the pool itself. Just recently in spring 2004, the Lagoon pool was enhanced with 45,000 sq. ft of pavers lining the deck surrounding the Lagoon pool with intricate brick patterns. Also edging the pool, fiber optic lighting has been added.

The expansive, newly renovated pool deck also incorporates two heated whirlpools, six reflection pools and live entertainment from 11 to 4 each afternoon to create a tropical oasis overlooking Edgewater’s panoramic stretch of Panama City beach.

~Waterfront Activities~
A host of Waterfront Activities, including windsurfing, banana boat tours, jet ski rental and tours, parasailing and sand volleyball are available directly on the beach. Oceanfront refreshments are easily accessible as well, with our attentive service staff scurrying the beach in search of thirsty guests.

And nearby, glass bottom boats, Shell Island excursions, scuba diving, sunset sailing cruises, deep-sea fishing, snorkeling with dolphins and dozens of other activities are at hand from any number of Local Charter Services.
