Day 1 – Home to Los Angeles
Board our flight today with much anticipation of the upcoming days which will feature the parade of all parades, The 126th Rose Parade themed “Inspiring Stories.” Unpack, relax, and enjoy as we have chosen a lovely hotel in Anaheim for the next 5 nights. This evening enjoy a welcome dinner.

Day 2 – Los Angeles
After breakfast at the hotel, we travel to the Pasadena area & visit a Pavilion where you will have a chance to see volunteers put the finishing touches on some of the beautiful floats. Literally, tens of thousands of flowers are lovingly applied to the floats, creating spectacular displays and magical excitement. Then we visit the Nixon Presidential Library & Museum where we will have an opportunity to step aboard our 37th President’s Army One Helicopter as well as see his birthplace.

Day 3 – Los Angeles
We begin our day with a stop at Mission San Juan Capistrano. Here you will learn the history of this well preserved mission along the El Camino Real. Then we’ll follow the coast to “Surf City USA,” Huntington Beach. Enjoy lunch on your own at a local restaurant and then take a walk on the pier where you can watch the surfers enjoying the Pacific surf! We will later return to the hotel and ring in the new year in grand style at a wonderful New Year’s Eve Celebration including entertainment, dancing, and great food! Please note: we will be ringing in the new year at 10pm California time – 12:00 midnight Minnesota time.

Day 4 – Los Angeles
Happy New Year! Attend the 126th Tournament of Roses Parade. Enjoy great reserved bleacher seating as we see first hand the magically animated floats, hear the many outstanding marching bands and more. We will witness in person what millions see through the eyes of television. We’ve packed a delicious box breakfast for you so you won’t miss a moment of the parade. All of this is planned with you in mind. After the parade the remainder of the day is at your leisure. Some may want to spend some time at nearby *Disneyland. Others may want to take in the *Rose Bowl game (*arranged on your own.)

Day 5 – Los Angeles
Today we enjoy sightseeing in the Los Angeles and Hollywood area. See TCL Chinese Theatre where the footprints of the stars line the sidewalk, as well as the Dolby Theatre, home of the Academy Awards. Motor along Rodeo Drive and Beverly Hills. Next we head to Long Beach and board the legendary Queen Mary to relive the golden age of luxury ocean travel during a special dinner.

Day 6 – Los Angeles to Home
Today we board our flight for home with memories of an unforgettable holiday, celebrating the New Year in grand style.
