Day 1 – Home to Medora, ND
We’ll board our luxury motorcoach for a ride through some beautiful country on our way to Medora, North Dakota for our first night. We’ll enjoy the Medora Musical after their famous “Pitchfork Fondue Dinner.”

Day 2 – Medora to Helena, MT
We’ll make a stop this morning to take a glimpse of the Theodore Roosevelt National Park before we continue our trek west. Tonight’s destination is Helena, MT. Big Sky, mountains, and the area’s mining history are all a part of this day’s journey.

Day 3 – Helena to St. Mary (Glacier National Park)
Today we begin our journey with a cruise on the Missouri River through what Lewis and Clark called the “Gates of the Mountains.” They described their finding this way: “Suddenly, there loomed before them towering rock formations unlike any they had ever seen. From both sides of the river, limestone cliffs rose to a spectacular height of 1200 feet. ‘In many places,’ wrote Meriwether Lewis, ‘the rocks seem ready to tumble on us.’” The scenery is fantastic as we cruise through this beautiful part of the Missouri River. Following our cruise we travel to the eastern edge of Glacier National Park and stay in the cozy St Mary Lodge.

Day 4 – St. Mary to Kalispell, MT
This morning we board a vintage Red Bus for our trip over the Going-To-The-Sun Road. This amazing drive will keep you in awe of magnificent Glacier National Park. A beautiful view of Wild Goose Island, a stop at Logan Pass, crossing the Continental Divide, and many majestic vistas will make this ride one you will not forget. Lunch will be served at historic McDonald Lake Lodge before we travel to Kalispell for the night.

Day 5 – Kalispell to 320 Guest Ranch
We travel around Flathead Lake on our way south today. Mountains rise around us and the sites are awesome. Our destination is the 320 Guest Ranch, a unique working ranch, on the banks of the Gallatin River. We’ll settle into our cabins and then enjoy a great meal together. Spend the evening watching the stars come out as we sit around the campfire with our traveling friends.

Day 6 – 320 Ranch to Jackson Lake (Yellowstone NP)
Journey into America’s Oldest National Park, Yellowstone. We’ll travel along the Madison River, enjoying the beauty of the park and the wildlife along the way. Some stops to enjoy the thermal features of this park will prepare us for the most famous of all, Old Faithful. We’ll enjoy lunch and some time exploring the area before we continue south out of Yellowstone and into Grand Teton National Park where we will check into the Jackson Lake Lodge for a two nights stay. Dinner tonight is in the famous Mural Dining Room with its spectacular views of the Teton Mountain Range.

Day 7 – Jackson Lake Lodge (Grand Tetons NP)
Take a float trip down the Snake River. We will watch for wildlife around every turn and rising to our west will be the Teton Mountain Range. This will be a float trip you will remember for years and years. We’ll enjoy a picnic lunch on the banks of the river. Then we’ll board our coach for more sight seeing as we journey through the park enjoying it’s beauty, returning to the Lodge for a restful evening.

Day 8 – Jackson Lake Lodge to Gardiner, MT
We motor back into Yellowstone National Park today where we visit more of this spectacular park. We will travel along the Yellowstone River and enjoy the wildlife along the way. Then it will be a stop at Yellowstone Falls, one of the most spectacular waterfalls in America. We will continue our drive through the park with a stop at Mammoth Hot Springs and other viewpoints. Tonight we stay just north of Yellowstone in the town of Gardiner.

Day 9 – Gardiner to Cody, WY
This morning we travel back into Yellowstone and make our way out the northeast end of the park. We’ll stop in the town of Cooke City before we make our way to Cody traveling the Chief Joseph Scenic Byway. Magnificent mountain passes and awesome views will keep you on the edge of your seats. When we arrive in Cody, we’ll make a stop at the Buffalo Bill Historical Museum, where you will enjoy the old west as it comes to life in five museums under one roof. After we check into our lodging for the night and have dinner, it’s off to the famous Cody Rodeo. Roping, Bull Riding and, of course, the Rodeo Clown will give you a great evening of entertainment!

Day 10 – Cody to Buffalo, WY
After a leisure morning we will begin our journey through the Big Horn Mountains. Today we will climb to our highest point on the trip…over 9,000 feet!! You will enjoy the goregous views and the beautiful mountain meadows. Lunch will be served at a “high altitude” restuarant before we begin our descent to our evening lodging in Buffalo.

Day 11 – Buffalo to Keystone, SD
Our travels today will take us along mountain ranges, through beautiful valleys, and past ghost towns. We’ll stop at Devil’s Tower Monument, a monolithic igneous intrusion, or in otherwords, it is the core of a volcano exposed from erosion. It is located in northeastern Wyoming, above the Belle Fourche River. It rises dramatically 1,267 feet above the surrounding terrain and the summit is 5,112 feet above sea level. It is truly a spectacular sight. This afternoon we travel to the KBarS Lodge nestled in the Black Hills in Keystone, SD for a delightful stay and dinner.

Day 12 – Keystone to Chamberlain, SD
Following breakfast we travel to Mt Rushmore National Memorial where we’ll learn about the history of its construction and about its meaning. Gazing up at this impressive Memorial is truly a sight to behold! Then we journey east with a lunch stop in Wall Drug, where their staple 5-cent cup of coffee or some free ice water will quench your thirst as we prepare for our trip through the Badlands National Park. This park is not “bad” at all, but a part of creation beautiful in its own way. We’ll make some stops for pictures and special views before we get to our evening stop, the Cedar Shores Resort on the banks of the Missouri River. Enjoy a relaxing evening with your traveling friends as we spend our last night together with an included farewell dinner.

Day 13 – Chamberlain to Home
Travel across the rest South Dakota and into Minnesota. We will be sharing together many of the “Highs” we experienced on this Rocky Mountain High Adventure!
