Day 1 – Home to San Francisco
Today we board our flight to San Francisco, one of the most exciting and beautiful cities in the world! A special visit will be to Chinatown, one of the best-known neighborhoods of any city in the Untied States. There are two Chinatowns, one that you see from a van or bus, and the one that can only be experienced on foot in the back alleys, food markets and local restaurants. Enjoy a guided walking tour of this “city within a city.” Your dining experience will be a dim sum dinner at an outstanding restaurant here in Chinatown! The remainder of the day is at your leisure to explore the surroundings of your lovely hotel.

Day 2 – San Francisco
This morning enjoy a city tour of San Francisco, famous for its spectacular natural harbor, charming parks, cable cars, and bustling docks. Stop at Twin Peaks for a scenic overview, and see Nob Hill, and the colorful Mission District, before lunch on our own at Pier 39 with its many charming restaurants and cafes! Later enjoy a narrated cruise on the famous San Francisco Bay with sights of Alcatraz on the horizon. Take time to ride the cable cars, explore Union Square, and stroll along Market Street. Leisure time is given this afternoon to pursue your own interests. Some may want to check out the many famous waterfront restaurants that surround the hotel.

Day 3 – San Francisco
This morning we drive over the legendary Golden Gate Bridge and motor through beautiful rolling countryside dotted with grapevines as we pass through Sonoma and on into Napa. We’ll board the luxurious Pullman lounge car and relive the days of elegant rail travel while enjoying a sumptuous three-course lunch on board. This extraordinary train ride through Napa Valley Wine Country will be a memory you will long remember. Visit the pristine waterfront community of Sausalito. Enjoy a bit of free time to explore the quaint Mediterranean-style village with it’s shops, galleries, and breathtaking views. Return to San Francisco for an evening at your leisure.

Day 4 – San Francisco to Home
Enjoy a morning at your leisure to do some last minute sightseeing or shopping the local stores. This afternoon we board our flight for home with memories of great city getaway and wine country tour! Those who choose to extend their vacation by another day please see extension for details.

Day 4 – San Francisco
Today we will make our way to Monterey. Sights will include the famed 17 Mile Drive, truly one of the most beautiful drives in all the world. View Del Monte Forest with it’s famous Lone Cypress Tree, Pebble Beach Golf Club and Seal Rock featuring seals in many numbers. Visit Old Monterey, with time to explore this historic town including charming Cannery Row made famous by John Steinbeck! Return to San Francisco for an evening at leisure. This evening you will have a choice between three R & J favorite restaurants in the area to dine at when you desire. Another way R & J is making your trips worry-free and the way you like it!

Day 5 – San Francisco to Home
Enjoy a morning at your leisure to do some last minute sightseeing or shopping the local stores. This afternoon we board our flight for home with memories of great city getaway and wine country tour!
