“Million Dollar Quartet” 

Fireside Dinner Theatre – Ft. Atkinson, WI 

On Dec. 4, 1956, an extraordinary twist of fate brought Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Elvis Presley together at Sun Records in Memphis for what would be one of the greatest jam sessions ever. “Million Dollar Quartet” brings that legendary night to life performed live onstage by world-class actors and musicians. Relive the era with this smash hit sensation featuring an incredible score of rock ‘n’ roll, gospel, R&B and country hits. 

 

“Shenandoah” 

Blue Gate Event Center- Shipshewana, IN 

Shenandoah is an American country music group founded in 1984 in Alabama. They have performed all over the world and released 9 studio albums. Top rated songs include “The Church on Cumberland Road”, Sunday in the South”, “Two Dozen Roses”, “Next To You, Next To Me”, “Mama Knows” and “Somewhere in the Vacinity of the Heart”. They are a popular favorite at the Blue Gate! 

 

“The Oak Ridge Boys” 

Blue Gate Event Center – Shipshewana, IN 

The Oak Ridge Boys are one of the most popular, enduring and legendary country, pop and gospel musical groups of our time. The group was founded in the 1940’s as the Oak Ridge Quartet. They became popular in southern gospel during the 1950’s and their name officially changed to the Oak Ridge Boys in the early 60’s. They remained a gospel group until the mid 70’s, when they changed their image and concentrated on country music. Song hits include: “Talk About the Good Times”, “Elvira”, “Bobbie Sue”, “Heaven Bound”, “Just When I Needed You Most”, “Jonah”, “Sail Away”, “Dream On”, “Heart of Mine”, and “So Fine”. They recorded 31 albums and have 17 number one hits! They have won countless CMA, Dove and Grammy awards over the years. They were just inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in October 2015.

 

“Smokey Joe’s Café” 

Drury Lane Theatre – Oakbrook, IL 

Smokey Joe’s Cafe is a musical revue showcasing 39 pop, rock ‘n’ roll and R&B standards produced and performed in first class style by the Drury Lane Theatre. The musical opened on Broadway in 1995, running for 2,036 performances making it the longest running musical revue in Broadway history. Featuring songs such as; “Stand By Me”, “Love Me”, “Kansas City”, “Hound Dog”, “Yakety Yak”, Jailhouse Rock”, “There Goes My Baby”, and “Fools Fall in Love”, it’s a generational favorite.

 

 

Day 1 – Home to Ft Atkinson, WI

Travel to Ft. Atkinson, Wisconsin. We enjoy fabulous dining at the Fireside Dinner Theatre before their outstanding production of “Million Dollar Quartet”.

Day 2 – Ft Atkinson to Shipshewana, IN

Travel to Shipshewana, Indiana and the heart of beautiful Amish Country. Our accommodations the next two nights is the friendly and comfortable Blue Gate Garden Inn. This evening enjoy great Amish dining before our much anticipated concert by Shenandoah.

Day 3 – Shipshewana

Breakfast at our hotel is amazing. Today we have the opportunity to explore Shipshewana with buggy rides, unique shopping and fabulous food. Amish dining again precedes the legendary Oak Ridge Boys concert.

Day 4 – Shipshewana to Oakbrook Terrace, IL

Another great breakfast at our hotel is part of a leisurely morning before we depart for a fairly short jaunt to Oakbrook, IL. If you’ve never been to the Drury Lane Theatre before, you are in for a very pleasant experience. Classy and beautiful, it is famous for outstanding theatre productions. We are actually privileged to be part of “Smokey Joe’s Café” final performance at Drury Lane. Dining before the show is elegant and amazing! Enjoy!

Day 5 – Oakbrook Terrace to Home

Hilton Garden Inn is well known for it’s wonderful hot breakfast preparing us for a comfortable journey home.
