Join us as we celebrate… Spring – It’s here!

New Life! Fresh Start! Bright Beginnings!

Spring is in the Air! There’s Music Everywhere!

Four great shows that will have you singing, laughing, tapping your toes, and maybe even dancing!

But one thing is for sure:

you’ll be enjoying every minute of it.

Day 1 – Home to Oglesby, IL

Travel to The Lodge in beautiful Starved Rock State Park where new spring growth is just emerging. This evening we enjoy a wonderful home-cooked meal in the Lodge dining room. We are joyfully entertained this evening by Mary and The Troublemakers. Candid, refreshing, and talented only begins to describe the diversity of their show. Their music centers around the 40’s, 50’s, 60’s and 70’s. They even take requests!!

Included Meals: Dinner

Hotel: Starved Rock Lodge (2 Nights)

Day 2 – Oglesby

Wake up and enjoy the Lodge’s breakfast buffet. This morning we board a trolley at the Lodge’s Great Hall for a historic tour with stops including Starved Rock Park Visitor Center, through historic downtown Utica, and the Illinois Waterway Visitor Center. A hot lunch buffet is served when we return to the Lodge. Then we’ll take a walk down memory lane with a talented performer who bring Patsy Cline to life in her wonderful “Tribute to the Star” show! We’re sure to enjoy some of her great hits like “Crazy,” “I Fall To Pieces,” and “Walkin’ After Midnight!” Later this afternoon we’ll enjoy some free time. Perhaps you’ll want to take a hike on one of the beautiful trails or curl up with a book by the massive fireplace. Dinner is once again served in the Lodge’s dining room.

Included Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 3 – Oglesby to Moline, IL

A great Lodge breakfast is served as you have time to enjoy a leisurely morning. Then it’s just a short drive to Moline, Illinois. We’ll enjoy lunch and perhaps even a surprise before we check into the comfy Stoney Creek Inn, our home for this evening. If there is extra time, you may want to check out the Great River Walking Trail (paved), which originates at the Stoney Creek Inn and follows along the banks of the Mississippi for miles. Tonight we are guests of the incomparable Circa 21 Dinner Theatre and “Just Desserts: A Musical Bake-Off.” It’s sweet. It’s savory. It’s five strangers putting their hearts, reputations, and baking skills on the line to become the crème de la crème of bakers at a county fair. The heat is on to create three different types of desserts during the finals. There’s a little mystery, a little romance, some mischievousness, and some back-stabbing – exactly what you expect when the competition is fierce – and the results are deliciously satisfying!

Included Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Hotel: Stoney Creek Inn

Day 4 – Moline to Delavan, WI

Breakfast is served at our comfy Inn before we depart for Tampico, IL, the birthplace of Ronald Reagan, who was the only President born in Illinois. He was born in Tampico on Feb. 6, 1911 in an apartment above a bakery. The bakery was purchased by the First National Bank in 1919 and continued as a Bank until the 1930’s. The apartment where he was born has been refinished to look as it did when he was born there. The bank has been restored to again look like a working bank of the early 1900’s. The store located to the South of the Bank originally was a grocery store and now houses the gift shop for the Reagan Museum. Then we continue northeast to Dixon, IL to the boyhood home of Ronald Reagan. Jack, Nelle, Neil (their oldest child) and Ronald all lived here in the 1920’s. Come experience what his youth was like and walk in his footsteps through his boyhood home and the city he loved. Later we make our way to the Comfort Suites in Delavan, WI. After checking in, we’re treated to a fantastic dinner & show at the Rosewood!

Included Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Show
