Celebrate Thanksgiving and the Christmas Season in New York City!
Day 1 – Home to New York City
The holidays in New York City are simply spectacular as the streets are lit with millions of sparkling lights and shops display their best for the holiday season! We’ll arrive at the Novotel at Times Square perfectly located in Midtown Manhattan. Dinner this evening is on your own to choose from the many outstanding restaurants and cafes surrounding your hotel. After dinner we’ll meet and take a ride to “The Top of the Rock.” Seeing NYC from “The Rock” at night is amazingly breathtaking!
Hotel: Novotel at Times Square (4 Nights)
Day 2 – New York City
Our local guide joins us as we cruise across New York City Harbor to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. Take some time to visit the museum and acknowledge the over 12 million immigrants who came here. When we return to Manhattan Island we will visit the 9/11 Memorial and Trinity Church. The remainder of the afternoon is at leisure. Your tour director will help with any arrangements you may have. This evening enjoy a wonderful Broadway show with reserved, prime seating.
Day 3 – New York City
Happy Thanksgiving! Breakfast is on your own this morning and you are free to wander outside to witness Macy’s 90th Thanksgiving Day Parade. Enjoy impressive displays of floats, marching bands, and those famous huge balloons looming overhead. After a wonderful time of viewing the parade you can relax, stroll the streets of NYC, have a leisurely lunch or shop on your own. Tonight we’ll enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving feast with all the trimmings onboard the elegant World Yacht while cruising the New York City Harbor. Enjoy the company of family and friends as we reflect on all there is to be thankful for at this time of year.
Included Meals: Dinner
Day 4 – New York City
We welcome a local expert guide who helps us explore the “Big Apple.” See Greenwich Village, Wall Street, Chinatown, the United Nations, Broadway, and countless other famous New York landmarks. Later stop at the Rockefeller Center and see all the ice skaters creating a festive atmosphere that only New York City can provide. Tonight enjoy the famous Christmas Spectacular at Radio City Music Hall featuring the Rockettes!
Day 5 – New York City to Home
Breakfast is at your leisure to choose from the many restaurants and sidewalk cafes surrounding the hotel. Later, we depart for the airport and our flight home.
“You absolutely must visit New York during the Holiday Season to see all the Christmas decorations. The atmosphere is so friendly and you can just feel the warmth of the people through the cold of the winter. Riding on the open top buses through Manhattan and eating hot sugar-coated nuts are just some of the highlights of the experience. Where else do you get to watch bucket bongo drummers dressed as Santa Claus perform in the streets?” -Bridgett M.
