Day 02 – Minot to Swift Current
We will need our proof of citizenship as we make our first border cross.  Our early-evening arrival will give time to enjoy the hotel.

Day 03 – Swift Current to Calgary
Fly or Motorcoach to Canada’s most modern city, Calgary, and sightsee with the help of a local guide.  Dinner will be on us atop the Calgary Tower offering sweeping views of the city below.

Day 04 – Calgary to Lake Louise
Today we’ll journey into the Canadian Rockies, considered one of the most scenic mountain ranges in the world.  The sites are spectacular as we motor through Yoho National Park and Kicking Horse Pass to beautiful Emerald Lake cradled by towering snow-capped peaks.  Lunch will be served overlooking this sparkling jewel.  We’ll see the Natural Bridge, Spiral Tunnel, and visit Moraine Lake, beautifully set in the peaceful valley of Ten Peaks, then arrive at Chateau Lake Louise, a world-renowned mountain resort majestically set on the edge of Victoria Glacier and overlooking Lake Louise.  Dinner will be served at the resort.

Day 05 – Lake Louise to Jasper
Enjoy breakfast and a free morning at the resort.  Considered one of the most beautiful settings in North America, our resort offers nature walks, canoes, or just pull up a chair and enjoy the scenery.  We’ll take an inspiring drive on the Icefields Parkway, a spectacular stretch of highway offering views of majestic mountains, waterfalls, glaciers, and snow fields.  Watch for bear, mountain goats, moose, and bighorn sheep.  A narrated Snocoach ride on the surface of the mighty Columbia Icefields and Athabasca Glacier is in store.  We’ll see Athabasca Falls, Snow Dome, and Mount Athabasca peaks, then settle into the Chateau Jasper, our home for the next two nights with dinner at the hotel.

Day 06 – Jasper
Eat breakfast at your leisure.  Later we’ll cruise on lovely Lake Maligne to Spirit Island with sweeping views of mountain scenery, then return to the lodge for the remainder of the day.  Some may want to browse in the local shops of Jasper.  Dinner will be at the lodge in the evening.

Day 07 – Jasper to Banff
We’ll depart for Banff village.  Lunch will be served at Banff Springs Hotel Clubhouse offering spectacular views.  Later we’ll enjoy a peaceful float raft ride on the Bow River as it winds along Bow River Valley to Banff National Park surrounded by towering mountain peaks and Bow Falls.  See emerald-colored Lake Peyto tucked among majestic mountain peaks.  We’ll check into our beautiful lodge located in the heart of Banff village. We’ve reserved superior rooms for your enjoyment at this beautiful mountain lodge!

Day 08 – Banff
Banff National Park is a magnificent setting which features forests of evergreen and alpine meadows while rugged snow-capped mountains dominate the backdrop.  A gondola ride to the top of Sulphur Mountain offers spectacular views of the village and valley below.  Leisure time allows you to pursue individual interests.  Browse in the local shops and boutiques.  This evening choose from one of the many charming restaurants surrounding our hotel.

Day 09 – Banff to Havre
Fly home or motorcoach to Havre with memories of a grand vacation to the Canadian Rockies.  The motorcoach group continues to Havre, Montana, for the evening.

Day 10 – Havre to Minot
After a light breakfast at the hotel, we’ll journey across Montana’s Big Sky and overnight in Minot, North Dakota.
