It’s a Mystery and off We Go Together,
And it’s fall time, so we’ll enjoy the fair weather!
We travel along and head to a show,
The 50’s are alive, don’t ya know?
The next morning we tour a historical home,
Our eyes can hardly believe it as we explore & roam!
Mansions line the boulevard we drive down,
Did you hear the boulevard’s name? What a noun!
A progressive ethnic meal is served throughout the day,
German, Polish, Italian…we’d have it no other way!
Tonight’s dinner is served in a restaurant built in 1903,
Leaded glass, carved wood paneling, tile arches – there’s so much to see!
Fall color abounds as we go up a hill,
Entering a Chapel, are hearts will be still.
Visiting a repurposed 1850s farmstead,
Beautiful quilts & fiber arts we’ll view ahead.
Small town feelings arise as we stroll along the historic downtown,
Tasting scrumptious caramel applies & delightful confections – the best around!
After dinner we set sail on a boat cruise,
Relax & take in the wonderful views.
Today we travel back home with a fun lunch along the way,
We’ve had a marvelous, mysterious time, we’ll all shout “Yea!”
