Join us on another adventure scouting out the sights and sounds of Yesteryear. We will journey down the road to reconnect with “The Good Ol Days” in search of just the perfect treasures we remember from days of old.
Day 1 – Home to Tomah, WI
Our first chance to actually view and purchase an antique treasure will be in downtown Eau Claire, where we will experience three wonderful shops. We will then travel on to Osseo & Norske Nook, a fabulous Scandinavian restaurant and bakery. Our biggest decision is what pie out of about 25 choices will we choose. Any choice will be a good one, I might add. The next exciting stop is in Hixton, where an abundance of antique shops await our arrival. “Should I buy this or will the next shop have a better price?” Sharon Hansen, R&J’s Antiquing Enthusiast, found one of her very favorite “one-of-a-kind” antiques at the Hixton Schoolhouse Antiques. After a suitable time frame (it’s never long enough) we board the coach and head for Tomah, our home for the night. Our evening meal will be at Burnstad’s, a wonderful European Market – You are guaranteed to love it! After a relaxing meal we check into the hotel.
Hotel: Hampton Inn
Included Meals: Lunch, Dinner
Day 2 – Tomah to Fort Atkinson, WI
Awaken to the aroma of coffee & a hot breakfast. We can hardly wait to search out our next antique mall down the street in Tomah. Long before we are ready to leave Tomah, we must board the coach anxiously heading toward our next stops: Wisconsin Dells Antique Mall, Baraboo, and Sauk City. These will definitely be hotspots for antique lovers. We check in and freshen up before leaving for our evening at the Fireside Dinner Theater in Fort Atkinson. Relax this evening in comfort at the Holiday Inn Express in Ft. Atkinson. We are most eager to get a good night’s rest before further scouting in the morning for more precious antiques.
Hotel: Holiday Inn Express

Day 3 – Fort Atkinson to Lake Geneva, WI
After our trip to the included hot breakfast bar, we head out to the Ft. Atkinson Antique Mall. Then getting a little shut eye feels good as we journey to Volo, Illinois and five malls (3 antique and 2 gifts & crafts). You will experience hunting in a 1880’s circa barn with three floors of antiques. This place is sure to bring a smile to any antique lover’s eyes. Our stop tonight takes us to the Lake Geneva Harbor Shores Resort, where we will relax in beauty and comfort the next two evenings.
Hotel: Lake Geneva Harbor Shores Resort (2 Nights)
Included Meals: Breakfast
Day 4 – Lake Geneva
A little R&R feels good as we take a narrated cruise on beautiful Lake Geneva, complete with included lunch. We then spend the afternoon doing our favorite thing, hunting antiques in the quaint Lake Geneva village. We are then invited to the great romantic and historic (1885) Baker House, a converted Victorian mansion filled with vintage glamour, for a fantastic gourmet dinner. It’s a very “feel good” place to dine while offering the best view in town. You will be entertained by live dinner musicians dressed in Victorian period outfits. The Baker House is rated as the #1 spot in Lake Geneva!
Included Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 5 – Lake Geneva to Home
Enjoy your last breakfast together. We depart for Madison and our last chance to spend that remaining bit of money you may have been saving in case you found just what you were looking for. Spend it now! After a mid-afternoon rest stop we arrive back in the Twin Cities with our many treasures. We are totally thrilled with all of our new found friends and antiques! (Even our antique friends!)
